明清話本小說的序跋研究

【摘要】:現(xiàn)存明清話本小說序跋近80篇。這些序跋不僅具有十分重要的文獻(xiàn)價(jià)值、社會(huì)史料價(jià)值,而且作為小說批評(píng)的傳統(tǒng)理論形式之一,也具有較高的文學(xué)理論價(jià)值。同時(shí),由于序跋作者大多具有較高的文學(xué)素養(yǎng),其中也不乏優(yōu)秀的文章,因而還具有一定的文學(xué)審美價(jià)值。從散文文體角度來看,明清話本小說序跋打破常規(guī),兼容并蓄,呈現(xiàn)出諸體兼?zhèn)涞亩鄻踊卣。其寫法自然靈活,不拘一格:或借鑒八股寫法而體現(xiàn)出八股化的結(jié)構(gòu)特點(diǎn);或語兼對(duì)偶、使事用典,而具有駢體化特色;或采用主客問答、韻散結(jié)合的形式而兼具賦體化特征;甚或言哲理、抒性情、記游蹤,而頗具小品文的風(fēng)格。這種多樣化的文體特色,既體現(xiàn)出明清話本小說家的創(chuàng)新求變意識(shí),也反映出明清序跋文與其它散文文體之間的互動(dòng)影響關(guān)系。作為一種供大眾消費(fèi)娛樂的文化產(chǎn)品,明清話本小說還具有商品的屬性。小說家創(chuàng)作話本為了謀生,書坊主出版小說意在牟利,因此,話本小說就必然要與市場發(fā)生聯(lián)系,而序跋就是話本小說市場宣傳的重要媒介。序跋作者對(duì)圖書產(chǎn)品的分析介紹,既有對(duì)小說的內(nèi)容和藝術(shù)性等核心層面的推介,也有對(duì)小說版本、出版情況等形式層面的說明介紹。序跋作者既通過規(guī)避政治風(fēng)險(xiǎn)、分析競品來審視宏觀環(huán)境,也通過定位讀者群、把握讀者閱讀趣味、預(yù)設(shè)讀者閱讀效果等角度來探查話本小說銷售的微觀環(huán)境,從而制定出有效的營銷方式,如借名人、名作來提升知名度的“借勢營銷”、激發(fā)讀者的共情和同情的“情感營銷”、通過識(shí)語進(jìn)行的“廣告營銷”等。這些營銷方式有力地促進(jìn)話本小說的銷售。作為小說評(píng)點(diǎn)的主要形式之一,序跋中蘊(yùn)含著豐富的小說理論。明清話本小說序跋中涉及了小說觀、小說史觀和小說美學(xué)等方面的小說理論,其中對(duì)小說本體的認(rèn)識(shí)、小說短篇意識(shí)的萌芽,對(duì)“小說”這一文體發(fā)生與嬗變的梳理,對(duì)“奇”與“!,“實(shí)”與“虛”等命題的探討等,都對(duì)中國古代小說理論的成熟與完善作出了重要貢獻(xiàn)。
[Abstract]:There are nearly 80 prefaces and postscripts to the novels of Ming and Qing dynasties. These prefaces and postscript not only have very important literature value, social historical data value, but also as one of the traditional theoretical forms of novel criticism, also have higher literary theoretical value. At the same time, most of the preface and postscript writers have higher literary literacy, and there are also some excellent articles, so they also have a certain literary aesthetic value. From the perspective of prose style, the preface and postscript of the novels in Ming and Qing dynasties broke the convention and were inclusive, showing the diversified characteristics of various styles. Its writing method is naturally flexible, not restricted to one style: or draw lessons from stereotyped writing and reflect the structural characteristics of stereotyped; or language and dual, so that things with the parallelization characteristics, or the use of subjective and objective questions and answers, the combination of rhyme and scattered form and have the characteristics of style; Or even philosophical, express temperament, remember the trace, and quite the style of prose. This diverse stylistic feature not only reflects the consciousness of innovation and change of the novelists in the Ming and Qing dynasties, but also reflects the interaction between the preface and postscript of the Ming and Qing dynasties and other prose styles. As a cultural product for mass consumption and entertainment, the Ming and Qing novels also have the property of commodities. In order to make a living, novelists publish novels for profit, so the novels must be connected with the market, and the preface and postscript are the important media for the marketing propaganda of the novels. The preface and postscript author's analysis and introduction to the book products not only introduce the content and artistry of the novel but also explain the form of the novel's edition and publication. The preface and postscript not only examine the macro environment by avoiding the political risk and analyzing the competition, but also probe into the micro environment of the novel sales from the angle of locating the readers, grasping the reader's reading interest and presupposing the reader's reading effect. Thus, effective marketing methods are formulated, such as "seize the opportunity" to promote popularity by means of celebrities and masterpieces, "emotional marketing" which inspires readers' empathy and sympathy, and "advertising marketing" through cognitive language, and so on. These marketing methods have the power to promote the sale of the novel. As one of the main forms of novel review, preface and postscript contain abundant novel theory. The preface and postscript of the novels of Ming and Qing dynasties involve novel theory, such as novel view, novel history view and novel aesthetics. Among them, the understanding of novel ontology, the sprout of short novel consciousness, and the arrangement and evolution of the style of "novel". The discussion of such propositions as "marvellous" and "Chang", "reality" and "vacuity" has made important contributions to the maturity and perfection of the theory of ancient Chinese novels.
