本文是一篇翻譯報(bào)告,報(bào)告翻譯材料節(jié)選自袁庭棟先生的《成都街巷志》。所選版本為四川教育出版社2010年版。該書系統(tǒng)書寫了老成都的街巷文化,是國內(nèi)第一部從街巷歷史文化角度彰顯成都風(fēng)采的力作。筆者獨(dú)立承擔(dān)該書327到346頁的翻譯。該部分論證充分,時間跨越清代后期到改革開放初期,主要涉及成都以官署、軍政命名的街道及與之相關(guān)的命名緣由、歷史變遷、名人掌故等。翻譯難點(diǎn)主要分布于兩個層面:詞匯層面主要是地名、古代官署、官職等具有豐富文化內(nèi)涵的專有名詞翻譯,句子層面主要為一些長難句的理解和表達(dá)。根據(jù)對原文文本特點(diǎn)和翻譯難點(diǎn)的分析,作者以杰夫·維索爾倫提出的語用順應(yīng)論為理論指導(dǎo),解決翻譯中遇到的問題,并對實(shí)踐經(jīng)驗(yàn)、教訓(xùn)進(jìn)行總結(jié)。本報(bào)告共五章:第一章介紹了本翻譯項(xiàng)目,涵蓋項(xiàng)目背景、意義、原文語言特點(diǎn)分析、翻譯難點(diǎn);第二章闡述了文本翻譯過程,共分為譯前、譯中、譯后三個階段;第三章介紹了維索爾倫所提出的語用順應(yīng)論;第四章作者以語用順應(yīng)論為指導(dǎo),結(jié)合轉(zhuǎn)換法、拆譯法、增減譯法等翻譯手法與技巧,從語言結(jié)構(gòu)順應(yīng)、語境關(guān)系順應(yīng)、動態(tài)順應(yīng)、順應(yīng)過程中的意識凸顯四個層面對三十個譯例進(jìn)行分析;第五章為翻譯報(bào)告總結(jié),認(rèn)為本翻譯...
