Cancer stem cells 淵CSCs冤 can proliferate indefinitely, be proved enhancing chemoresistance and indicatea close relationship with chemoresistance. CSCs with definite cell surface maker can be separated from chemoresistant ovarian cancer cells, they can providea reservoir of cells that can self -renew, maintain the tumor which make up the bulk of the tumor and may be the primary source of recurrence and chemoresistance.
