[Abstract]:On April 11 , 2017 , Themis Bioscience , Austria ' s biotechnology company , announced the start of a clinical trial in healthy volunteers for a viral vaccine . The vaccine was developed on the basis of the measles vaccine immunization technology , the first vaccine to reach the clinical trial phase of the attenuated virus . Last December , the United States Inovio Pharmaceutical announced that its pilot vaccine had induced a powerful immune response in human volunteers .
