[Abstract]:Positive bacterial meningitis complicates a few patients after neurosurgery. However, assessing postoperative meningitis based on clinical symptoms is also complex, especially for aseptic meningitis after posterior fossa surgery (possibly an inflammatory response to blood or other substances). In fact, about 75% of patients with postoperative meningitis are non-infectious inflammation.
