【摘要】：艾薩克·巴什維斯·辛格是二十世紀(jì)著名的美國籍猶太小說家,《童愛》作為辛格用第一人稱創(chuàng)作的佳作,描寫了青年猶太作家艾倫坎坷的成長經(jīng)歷和心路歷程。本文從成長小說角度對辛格的《童愛》進(jìn)行解讀,從人物塑造、結(jié)構(gòu)模式和成長主題三個層面來論證其作為成長小說所具有的特征,揭示以艾倫為代表的猶太青年人面臨的成長困惑,并探求主人公獲得成長的原因。本文旨在通過對主人公的成長分析,指出猶太青年人應(yīng)回歸猶太傳統(tǒng),才能真正認(rèn)識自我;并且呼吁現(xiàn)代人應(yīng)堅守信仰,樹立正確的道德觀念;最后,成長分析也為今后對辛格和《童愛》的研究開拓了新的視角。
