矛盾與和諧—蓋斯凱爾夫人與她的作品《瑪麗巴頓》分析

雖然許多文學評論家已經(jīng)分析了蓋斯凱爾夫人的作品《瑪麗巴頓》當中的階級問題,婦女問題和倫理問題,相比較于《瑪麗巴頓》的國外研究,在國內(nèi)對蓋斯凱爾夫人和她的作品的研究較少。許多研究只是對蓋斯凱爾夫人的小說作了簡單介紹。有些書試圖從女性主義角度解釋《瑪麗巴頓》,但未能探索到其深刻內(nèi)涵。所以對蓋斯凱爾夫人和她的作品《瑪麗巴頓》進行一個透徹的研究,以找出她對社會的影響是十分必要的。 本文基于唯物辯證法理論,從哲學理論當中的矛盾統(tǒng)一理論出發(fā)分析蓋斯凱爾夫人和她的代表作《瑪麗巴頓》。通過分析蓋斯凱爾夫人和她的作品《瑪麗巴頓》,本文嘗試探討她本人與她作品中經(jīng)常出現(xiàn)的矛盾與和諧。為了更透徹的分析這部作品,本文同時采用了例證法,解釋法,定義法,對比法等。 經(jīng)過探討和研究我得出三個結(jié)論。第一,中早期維多利亞時代動蕩的背景造就了蓋斯凱爾夫人矛盾心理。當時,封建社會開始動搖并且資產(chǎn)階級呈上升趨勢,其經(jīng)濟發(fā)展迅速。因此,在政治和經(jīng)濟上的巨大變化不僅給社會帶來了許多沖突和混亂,而且對人的意識形態(tài)也帶來了沖突和改變。面對資本主義社會和男權(quán)社會,蓋斯凱爾夫人持有動蕩不定的態(tài)度,這些意識形態(tài)的改變很好的體現(xiàn)在了蓋斯凱爾夫...
