英國文學(xué)界巨擘克利弗·斯坦普斯·劉易斯最為著名的作品為《納尼亞傳奇》、《太空三部曲》和《地獄來鴻》。其中《納尼亞傳奇》這系列描寫“納尼亞王國”的童話,堪稱為兒童文學(xué)的經(jīng)典。它包括七部長篇小說,即：《獅子、女巫和魔衣柜》、《凱斯賓王子》、《黎明踏浪號》、《能言馬和男孩》、《魔術(shù)師的外甥》和《最后一戰(zhàn)》。其中《最后一戰(zhàn)》獲得“卡耐基文學(xué)獎(jiǎng)”,其為授予英國兒童文學(xué)的最高獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)。故事主人公即來自我們世界的兒童在另外一個(gè)世界---納尼亞王國經(jīng)歷了一些非同尋常的探險(xiǎn),他們在幫助納尼亞恢復(fù)往日的和平上發(fā)揮了重要的作用。故事里出現(xiàn)的獅子、巫師、會(huì)說話的人頭馬及其他奇奇怪怪的生物為這部系列作品增添了不少魅力。故事也富有哲理性,成人及兒童都將受益于其中的一些理念。 劉易斯深受基督教文化和希臘文化的影響。《納尼亞傳奇》這部系列作品的每一本都與《圣經(jīng)》或希臘文化有著或多或少或顯或隱的關(guān)系。劉易斯曾在他的評論集里高度贊揚(yáng)榮格的哲學(xué)觀及他的原型理論。基于以上幾點(diǎn),本人對在原型批評的視域下研究《納尼亞傳奇》產(chǎn)生了非常濃厚的興趣。篇幅所限,筆者在此難以盡述,姑且以三部原型概念較足的作品——《獅子、女巫和魔衣柜》...
