凱魯亞克是垮掉派主要成員之一并被譽(yù)為“垮掉之王”。其成名作《在路上》自出版以來(lái)獲得了諸多國(guó)內(nèi)外學(xué)者和評(píng)論家的關(guān)注。雖然很多人認(rèn)為它是一部現(xiàn)代主義作品,但隨著后現(xiàn)代主義理論探索的不斷深化和發(fā)展,加之創(chuàng)作于現(xiàn)代主義向后現(xiàn)代主義過(guò)渡時(shí)期,這部作品的后現(xiàn)代主義特征也十分明顯。然而,在以往有關(guān)《在路上》的評(píng)論文章和著作中,對(duì)其進(jìn)行后現(xiàn)代主義方面研究的卻不多。鑒于這種情況,本文試圖分析《在路上》的后現(xiàn)代主義小說(shuō)特征,揭示其后現(xiàn)代性,希望有助于加深對(duì)凱魯亞克及其作品的理解和研究。論文主要借鑒伊哈布·哈桑、讓—弗朗索瓦·利奧塔德、弗雷德里克?杰姆遜和雅克·德里達(dá)關(guān)于后現(xiàn)代主義主要特征的理論,分析論證《在路上》所具備的后現(xiàn)代主義寫(xiě)作特征,特別是小說(shuō)中表現(xiàn)最為突出的三個(gè)后現(xiàn)代主義創(chuàng)作策略:不確定性、無(wú)深度性和解構(gòu)主義,并得出結(jié)論:《在路上》也是一部帶有鮮明后現(xiàn)代主義色彩的杰作。
