凱瑟琳·曼斯菲爾德是一位受過專業(yè)音樂訓練的新西蘭女作家,自幼與音樂結(jié)下不解之緣,在求學生涯里以文學為業(yè),以音樂為友。一度曼斯菲爾德在音樂與文學的職業(yè)決擇中倍感困惑。后來她選擇了文學作為自己的事業(yè),但是音樂已經(jīng)浸潤到她的血脈。她的一生如同一曲短暫而曲折的哀樂。這樣一位在音樂的陪伴下成長的女作家,音樂好比她生命的養(yǎng)分,為她的寫作提供了不斷的靈感和大量的題材。她的作品是否具有音樂性?這是本文力求回答的問題。為了回答這一問題本文以《序曲》、《唱歌課》、《布麗爾小姐》、《園會》等一些曼斯菲爾德代表作品為分析文本,著重分析曼斯菲爾德作品在敘述手法、內(nèi)容和形式方面的音樂性。在分析過程中引用大量的理論,并且在其后附上具體示例進行詳盡說明,使整個論證過程有理可依、有據(jù)可尋。論文的結(jié)構(gòu)大致如下：首先介紹凱瑟琳·曼斯菲爾德與音樂的關(guān)系,并且提出其作品是否具有音樂性這一問題。其次從理論層面、經(jīng)典作品例證以及曼斯菲爾德作品出發(fā)論證文學與音樂的關(guān)系。再次是論文的主體部分。第三章從敘述方式方面論述凱瑟琳·曼斯菲爾德作品的復調(diào)音樂特性。第四章從作品內(nèi)容方面闡釋曼斯菲爾德作品的音樂性。第五章從形式上闡明曼斯菲爾德作品的...
