從拯救到滅亡:《傷心咖啡館之歌》與《心是孤獨(dú)的獵手》中的認(rèn)同與補(bǔ)償

  卡森·麥卡勒斯(Carson McCullers,1917一1967),是美國現(xiàn)代南方派作家群中一位風(fēng)格獨(dú)特、頗有建樹的女作家。她借用怪誕文學(xué)的技巧,描寫生理殘缺和心理病態(tài)。1940年,年僅23歲的麥卡勒斯憑借她的第一部長篇小說《心是孤獨(dú)的獵手》而一舉成名,同時(shí)這部小說也奠定了她日后創(chuàng)作的主題:精神隔絕(Spiritual Isolation)與孤獨(dú)(Loneliness)。隨后的幾部作品《金色瞳仁的映像》、《傷心咖啡館之歌》和《婚禮的成員》承襲了她寫作的一貫風(fēng)格,將精神隔絕與孤獨(dú)這一主題詮釋得淋漓盡致;橐龅牟恍液筒⊥吹恼勰ナ顾膬(nèi)心世界無法擺脫抑郁、孤寂的陰影。對(duì)生命特定的理解和感受使她寫起畸型、病態(tài)、痛苦和悲傷來很得心應(yīng)手?ㄉ溈ɡ账沟男≌f以南方為背景,從心理開拓的角度揭示出人的內(nèi)心世界。本文旨在通過對(duì)文本的細(xì)讀,用弗洛伊德的精神分析學(xué)理論:從認(rèn)同和補(bǔ)償角度來分析麥卡勒斯兩部小說中的人物關(guān)系,如愛情友情等,以及最后認(rèn)同和補(bǔ)償?shù)腻e(cuò)位以及缺失導(dǎo)致小說的結(jié)局,進(jìn)一步挖掘精神隔絕與孤獨(dú)的內(nèi)在原因。本文第一章主要簡要介紹作家及其重要作品,以及當(dāng)前的研究動(dòng)向;第二章主要闡述本文的理論視角...
