回寫《暴風(fēng)雨》:約翰·福爾斯《魔法師》的互文性闡釋

本文從互文性角度解讀《魔法師》與《暴風(fēng)雨》的相互指涉和意義關(guān)聯(lián)。細(xì)讀文本可以發(fā)現(xiàn),福爾斯的《魔法師》和莎士比亞的《暴風(fēng)雨》存在著主題對(duì)應(yīng)關(guān)系:兩部作品的主旨都是追尋自由,主人公的愛情都要經(jīng)受嚴(yán)峻的考驗(yàn)。此外,《魔法師》和《暴風(fēng)雨》在人物、場(chǎng)景、結(jié)構(gòu)方面都存在著微妙的互文關(guān)系。論文分為五個(gè)部分,第一章對(duì)之前的福爾斯研究、特別是有關(guān)《魔法師》研究文獻(xiàn)進(jìn)行了述評(píng)。第二章闡釋了論文的理論基礎(chǔ)。首先對(duì)文學(xué)研究中的互文性概念進(jìn)行了界定,然后簡(jiǎn)明扼要地闡述了互文性理論的代表人物克里斯蒂娃、巴赫金、巴特、熱奈特的主要理論觀點(diǎn),并勾勒了本文所運(yùn)用的互文性理論框架。第三章從人物塑造角度探討了《魔法師》和《暴風(fēng)雨》的互文性,康奇斯是脫冕的普羅斯皮羅,他已不再像普羅斯皮羅那樣篤信魔法,而是對(duì)虛構(gòu)作品充滿好奇。尼克拉斯經(jīng)歷了從卡列班到費(fèi)迪南王子的升華。朱莉則是經(jīng)歷了米蘭達(dá)所謂經(jīng)歷的沉淪。第四章從場(chǎng)景和結(jié)構(gòu)著手,分析了《魔法師》與《暴風(fēng)雨》兩部作品之間在荒島場(chǎng)景、假面舞會(huì)以及羅曼司結(jié)構(gòu)等方面的對(duì)應(yīng)。第五章是全文的結(jié)論:通過對(duì)《暴風(fēng)雨》的回寫,福爾斯展現(xiàn)了現(xiàn)代社會(huì)人類存在的荒誕狀態(tài)。要想擺脫荒誕,青年藝術(shù)家的成長(zhǎng)需...
