后現(xiàn)代時(shí)期的混搭小說:對(duì)比研究《傲慢與偏見與僵尸》和《傲慢與偏見》
[Abstract]:The publication of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies in 2009 triggered a new trend in the literary world-classic novels mingled with popular elements. More than a dozen similar novels have been published, and many more are still brewing. In response to this literary phenomenon, the Internet and newspapers and periodicals comments crowded, but so far there is little formal research. This paper argues that the literary works named by the publisher of Pride and Prejudice and Zombie as "Mixed-Fiction" are essentially the product of postmodernism. Taking Pride and Prejudice and Zombie as an example, this thesis attempts to illustrate the creative interaction between the novel and the classical literature, which subverts the literary classics while making them reborn in the contemporary society. By comparing some terms related to intertextuality in postmodernist context, the first chapter clarifies the concept of "mashup". In the second chapter, the author uses the method of text analysis to compare Graham Smith's mashup novel and Austen's classic text with the entertaining application of Austin brand. Thus explaining the creative interaction between the two. Chapter three and chapter four make context analysis from zombie and oriental elements. The third chapter focuses on the significance of zombies in the mashup novel, expounds its subversion and remodeling of Austen's classic text. The fourth chapter analyzes the same point of view of the oriental feelings in the novel, but at the same time finds out the limitation of the consciousness of the novel, that is, it can not break through the established concept of the East in American popular culture. Based on text contrast and context analysis, the fifth chapter puts the mixed story in the context of popular culture, using postmodernism and consumer culture theory. From the perspective of western Marxist criticism, this paper explains the formation of mixed-up novels and the reasons for their commercial success. At the end of the chapter, the author summarizes the general characteristics and trends of the postmodern mixed story, in order to contribute to the study of postmodern literature and cultural sociology, and points out the relevant research fields in the future.
