【摘要】：石黑一雄是英國當(dāng)代文壇著名的日裔英籍作家,于1989年榮獲英國最高文學(xué)獎布克獎。因其卓著的文學(xué)成就,與奈保爾、拉什迪一起并稱為“英國文壇移民三雄”�！度荷降啊肥瞧溆�1982年出版的處女作,該作品在次年即獲得英國皇家學(xué)會頒發(fā)的溫尼弗雷德·霍爾比獎。《群山淡景》是一部回顧性小說,作者以記憶的方式講述了小說主人公兼敘述者采取有選擇性的不可靠記憶來反映她的身份危機,而小說的記憶敘事策略在某種程度上則是應(yīng)對身份危機的途徑。主人公的身份危機在其敘述中不斷被消解。作者也借小說中的記憶敘事來重建文化身份、治愈心靈創(chuàng)傷。石黑一雄為何采用記憶主題、為何采用這樣的記憶敘事策略以及記憶的療傷功能是本文的研究重點。導(dǎo)論部分主要介紹石黑一雄的生平和寫作生涯,梳理《群山淡影》的相關(guān)文獻綜述以及本論文的理論基礎(chǔ)。第一章探討小說中的記憶主題。小說中的記憶主要包括主人公對個人過往生活的記憶和對長崎原子彈爆炸的集體記憶。主人公試圖利用記憶重構(gòu)過去,以緩解她作為移民的身份危機,并且為她遠離日本、背離故土找到合適的理由。第二章主要分析小說中的記憶敘事策略。通過框架敘事、嵌入式敘述結(jié)構(gòu)分析主人公時空交錯的記憶。再以詹姆斯·費倫的不可靠敘事為理論框架,分析主人公的模糊的記憶。作者借此力求表現(xiàn)主人公試圖與過去和解、承認自己錯誤行為的努力。第三章關(guān)注記憶敘事的療傷作用。通過展現(xiàn)記憶對小說主人公的療傷作用,作者也表達出記憶幫助他自己重建一個想象的家園。同時通過小說,作者重新構(gòu)建了自己作為一個英日文化并存的國際化作家的文化身份。通過記憶敘事,小說主人公與過去得到和解,得以重建身份。作者石黑一雄則為自己漂泊的靈魂重新建構(gòu)了一個想象家園,喚回他對日本的記憶,構(gòu)建起一個英日文化共存的第三空間。同時重新構(gòu)建了自己作為國際化作家的文化身份。作者也試圖告訴讀者,要正視過去、正視歷史,只有這樣,我們的內(nèi)心才能得到真正的安寧。
[Abstract]:Ishihiro, a famous British writer of Japanese origin in contemporary British literature, was awarded the Booker Prize for British Literature in 1989. Along with Naipaul and Rushdie, he is known as the "three Great Britain Literary immigrators" for his outstanding literary achievements. "A bleak view of the mountains" is his first work, published in 1982. The work won the Royal Society's Winnie Fred Holby Award the following year. The Light View of the Mountains is a retrospective novel. The author tells the story of the protagonist and narrator in a way of memory to reflect her identity crisis by selective and unreliable memory, and to some extent, the narrative strategy of memory in the novel is the way to deal with the identity crisis. The identity crisis of the protagonist is constantly dispelled in his narration. The author also reconstructs the cultural identity and heals the mental trauma by the memory narration in the novel. Why does Ishihiro adopt the theme of memory, why the narrative strategy of memory and the healing function of memory are the focus of this paper. The introduction mainly introduces Ishihiro's life and writing career, combs the literature review and the theoretical basis of this paper. The first chapter discusses the theme of memory in the novel. The memory of the novel mainly includes the hero's memory of his past life and the collective memory of the Nagasaki atomic bomb. The protagonist tries to use memory to reconstruct the past in order to alleviate her status crisis as an immigrant and to find a suitable reason for her to leave Japan and depart from her native land. The second chapter mainly analyzes the narrative strategy of memory in the novel. Through the frame narration, the embedded narrative structure analyzes the memory of the protagonist. Based on James Fellen's unreliable narration, the fuzzy memory of the protagonist is analyzed. In this way, the author tries to show the protagonist's efforts to reconcile with the past and admit his wrong behavior. Chapter three focuses on the healing effect of memory narrative. By demonstrating the healing effect of memory on the protagonist, the author also expresses that memory helps him to rebuild an imaginary home. At the same time, the author reconstructs his cultural identity as an international writer with English and Japanese culture. Through memory narration, the protagonist of the novel can be reconciled with the past and be able to rebuild his identity. The author, Ishihiro Ishiko, reconstructs an imaginary homeland for his wandering soul, calls back his memory of Japan, and constructs a third space for the coexistence of Anglo-Japanese culture. At the same time, it reconstructs its cultural identity as an international writer. The author also tries to tell readers to face the past, face history, only in this way, we can get real peace of mind.
