【摘要】:眾所周知,幾乎所有西方文學(xué)大師的作品都受到基督教圣經(jīng)的影響!妒ソ(jīng)》的題材和典故在西方文學(xué)發(fā)展史上都有著巨大而持久的影響,《圣經(jīng)》情節(jié)依然是很多作品內(nèi)在底蘊(yùn)的基本構(gòu)成,《荊棘鳥》也不例外。 《荊棘鳥》是一部世界著名的家世小說,深受讀者的喜愛和研究者的關(guān)注。許多文學(xué)評論家曾運(yùn)用各種方法,從不同角度提出了自己的觀點(diǎn),如從女權(quán)主義、象征主義、道德主題等角度來解析這部作品。本文作者運(yùn)用神話原型批評理論,從作品的人物、敘事結(jié)構(gòu)、環(huán)境背景著手,對隱藏在《荊棘鳥》后的原型進(jìn)行詳細(xì)的分析,探討作者在現(xiàn)代文化背景下對圣經(jīng)原型的借鑒和理解。 本篇論文共五部分。第一章,介紹作家作品、文獻(xiàn)綜述以及諾斯洛普.弗萊神話原型批評理論及研究意義。第二章,深入分析了作品中主要人物的圣經(jīng)原型。本章分為三部分:第一部分,夏娃-亞當(dāng)原型。拉爾夫和梅吉形同亞當(dāng)夏娃再世,他們所犯的罪過使他們遭受痛苦的折磨,同時(shí)也賦予他們新的認(rèn)識。第二部分,撒旦原型,旣.卡森和撒旦具有明顯的相似,她的所作所為和她的命運(yùn)都顯示出她的邪惡。第三部分,替罪羊原型。戴恩就是祖先及其父母過錯(cuò)的替罪羊。第三章,分析了作品的結(jié)構(gòu)原型和環(huán)境背景原型。本章分為兩部分:第一部分,介紹作品中呈現(xiàn)出的“U”型敘事結(jié)構(gòu)。把圣經(jīng)作為一個(gè)整體,它的敘事大都遵循了“樂園—犯罪—懲罰—懺悔—得救”的“U”型敘事結(jié)構(gòu)。第一小節(jié),綜觀整部家世小說的敘事脈絡(luò),以拉爾夫和梅吉之間的愛情為主線,故事情節(jié)展開與圣經(jīng)“U”型敘事很相似。第二小節(jié),《荊棘鳥》在局部敘事上也包含了這種“U”型敘事模式,這是另一個(gè)與圣經(jīng)相似之處。以梅吉的母親菲奧娜為例,她一生的命運(yùn)起伏也是一個(gè)“U”型結(jié)構(gòu)。第二部分,從環(huán)境背景入手,分析了得羅海達(dá)牧場與伊甸園之間的對應(yīng)關(guān)系,得羅海達(dá)就是傳說中伊甸園的翻版。第四章,從原罪主題、贖罪主題和新生主題三個(gè)方面對小說進(jìn)行原型分析,探討作者在現(xiàn)代文化背景下對圣經(jīng)原型的思考。第一節(jié),分析《荊棘鳥》中對偷吃禁果這一原罪主題的理解。一方面我們看到人類自身的弱點(diǎn)、人類的罪惡,另一方面,也突出了對人性的理解。第二節(jié),分析《荊棘鳥》中對贖罪主題的理解。作品中贖罪的主題不僅僅停留在因罪而被迫接受苦難的生活、接受懲罰這個(gè)層面,同時(shí)上升到勇于面對苦難,積極面對生活的層面。第三節(jié),分析《荊棘鳥》中對人類新生主題的思考。圣經(jīng)中,只有對罪惡真心悔過,才能最終獲得新生。在現(xiàn)代社會文化背景下,作者認(rèn)為兩性只有保持平等、和諧的關(guān)系,在相互理解和平衡當(dāng)中,人類才能找到新生。最后是結(jié)論!肚G棘鳥》中,作者再現(xiàn)了圣經(jīng)原型故事,并賦予圣經(jīng)原型故事新的內(nèi)涵,闡述了作者對原罪、救贖、新生的理解,使圣經(jīng)故事閃耀出時(shí)代的光輝。
[Abstract]:as everyone knows Almost all the works of Western literary masters are influenced by the Christian Bible. The themes and allusions of the Bible have a great and lasting influence in the history of the development of western literature. The plot of the Bible is still the inner base of many works. Thorn Birds is no exception. It is a world-famous family novel. It is deeply loved by readers and concerned by researchers. Many literary critics have put forward their own views from different angles, such as feminism, symbolism, moral theme and so on. Based on the mythological archetypal criticism theory, the author analyzes the archetypes hidden behind thornbush from the perspective of characters, narrative structure and environment background. This paper discusses the author's reference and understanding of biblical archetypes in the context of modern culture. This paper consists of five parts. The first chapter introduces the author's works, literature review and Northrop. The archetypal criticism theory of Fry mythology and its research significance. The second chapter analyzes the biblical archetypes of the main characters in the works. This chapter is divided into three parts: the first part, Eve-Adam prototype. Ralph and Meggie were like Adam and Eve. Their sins tormented them and gave them a new understanding. The second part, Satan prototype. Mary Carson and Satan have a clear resemblance, her actions and her fate show her evil. The third part, scapegoat prototype. Dayne is a scapegoat for the mistakes of ancestors and their parents. In the third chapter, the structure prototype and environment background prototype of the work are analyzed. This chapter is divided into two parts: the first part introduces the U-type narrative structure. Taking the Bible as a whole, most of its narratives follow the "U" narrative structure of Paradise-Crime-punishment-repentance-salvation. In the first section, the narrative context of the whole family novel is summarized, with the love between Ralph and Meggie as the main line, the plot of the story is similar to the "U" type narration of the Bible. In the second verse, Thorn Bird also contains this "U" type narrative pattern in local narration, which is also similar to the Bible. In the case of Fiona, Meggie's mother, the ups and downs of her life were also a U-shaped structure. The second part, from the background of the environment, analyzes the corresponding relationship between Delaheda ranch and Eden, which is a reprint of the legendary Eden. Chapter four analyzes the archetypes of the novel from three aspects: original sin theme, atonement theme and new theme, and probes into the author's thinking on the biblical archetype in the context of modern culture. The first section analyzes the understanding of the original sin theme of stealing forbidden fruit in the Bird of thorns. On the one hand, we see human weakness, human sin, on the other hand, we also highlight the understanding of human nature. The second section analyzes the understanding of the theme of atonement in the bird of thorns. The theme of atonement in the works is not only the life forced to accept suffering due to sin, but also the level of punishment, rising to the level of being brave to face suffering and actively facing life. In the third section, the author analyzes the theme of human birth in the Bird of thorns. In the Bible, only sincere repentance for sin can be finally reborn. In the context of modern society and culture, the author holds that only by maintaining equal and harmonious relations, can human beings find new life in the process of mutual understanding and balance. Finally, it is the conclusion that the author reproduces the biblical archetypal story and endows the biblical archetypal story with the new connotation, and expounds the author's understanding of the original sin, redemption and new life, which makes the biblical story shine with the glory of the times.
