【摘要】：馬修·劉易斯(1775—1818)是英國哥特式小說的代表作家之一�！缎薜朗俊肥撬�19歲時(shí)創(chuàng)作的一部小說,也是他的成名作和代表作。小說于1796年一經(jīng)問世,便引起了巨大轟動(dòng)�！缎薜朗俊纷鳛橐徊康湫偷母缣厥叫≌f,它在表現(xiàn)其意象、人物形象以及敘事結(jié)構(gòu)等都充分體現(xiàn)其哥特式特征,同時(shí)也體現(xiàn)了《圣經(jīng)》元素的影響。鑒于文學(xué)與文化之間存在地密切聯(lián)系,本篇論文嘗試以弗萊的原型批評(píng)為理論依據(jù),對(duì)《修道士》中所蘊(yùn)含的圣經(jīng)原型進(jìn)行分析。 《圣經(jīng)》作為一部偉大的文學(xué)著作,在世界文學(xué)史上占有重要的地位,對(duì)西方文學(xué)更是有著深遠(yuǎn)影響。幾個(gè)世紀(jì)以來,西方文學(xué)從基督教和《圣經(jīng)》里吸收了豐富的營養(yǎng)。在許多文學(xué)著作中都可以見到《圣經(jīng)》影響。本文擬從圣經(jīng)視角溯源小說的意象、人物以及敘事結(jié)構(gòu),詮釋文本中圣經(jīng)原型的象征意義,深化理解作者刻意描寫人性墮落顯惡,呼吁人性向善的創(chuàng)造意圖；同時(shí)揭示了小說中懲惡揚(yáng)善的主題,表達(dá)了作者對(duì)腐朽的宗教體制的諷刺和批判。除此以外,本篇論文通過對(duì)小說中發(fā)掘出的各種可以追溯到圣經(jīng)神話的原型進(jìn)行分析,以期待在文化背景中加深理解小說。 本篇論文主要是由以下三個(gè)部分組成：引言、主體和結(jié)語。引言部分包括了作家、作品以及弗萊的原型理論和圣經(jīng)原型特征的簡介,同時(shí)包括了文獻(xiàn)回顧和選題緣由。文章的主體部分共分成了三個(gè)章節(jié)：第一章是通過對(duì)小說中所包含的圣經(jīng)意象的分析,來揭示宗教體制的腐敗以及小說作家對(duì)腐敗與邪惡的態(tài)度；第二章則是通過對(duì)小說中主要人物的原型分析,借此來體現(xiàn)小說中所包含的懲惡揚(yáng)善的主題；而在第三章中,本論文則從該小說的敘事結(jié)構(gòu)入手,分析其對(duì)圣經(jīng)敘事結(jié)構(gòu)的引援和變異。本章節(jié)再次表現(xiàn)了小說所要宣揚(yáng)的主題及其作家對(duì)人性向善的呼吁。結(jié)語部分是對(duì)該論文的一個(gè)總結(jié)。
[Abstract]:Matthew Lewis (1775-1818) is one of the representative writers of Gothic novels in England. The Monk was a novel he wrote at the age of 19. In 1796, it caused a great sensation. As a typical Gothic novel, the Monk is showing its image. The characters and narrative structure fully embody their Gothic characteristics, and also reflect the influence of the elements of the Bible, in view of the close relationship between literature and culture. Based on Frey's archetypal criticism, this thesis attempts to analyze the biblical archetypes contained in Monk. As a great literary work, the Bible occupies an important position in the history of world literature and has a profound influence on western literature for centuries. Western literature has absorbed rich nutrition from Christianity and the Bible. The influence of Bible can be seen in many literary works. This paper attempts to trace the images, characters and narrative structure of the novel from the perspective of the Bible. Annotating the symbolic meaning of the biblical archetype in the text, deepening the understanding of the author's creative intention of deliberately describing the depravity and evil of human nature and appealing for humanity to be good; At the same time, it reveals the theme of "punishing evil and promoting good" in the novel, and expresses the author's satire and criticism of the decadent religious system. Through the analysis of the various prototypes which can be traced back to the biblical mythology, this thesis hopes to deepen the understanding of the novel in the cultural background. This thesis is mainly composed of the following three parts: introduction, subject and conclusion. The introduction includes the author, works and a brief introduction to Frey's archetypal theory and Biblical archetypal features. The main part of the thesis is divided into three chapters: the first chapter is the analysis of the biblical image contained in the novel. To reveal the corruption of religious system and the attitude of novel writers to corruption and evil; The second chapter is through the archetypal analysis of the main characters in the novel to reflect the theme of "punishing evil and promoting good" contained in the novel; In the third chapter, this thesis starts with the narrative structure of the novel. This chapter shows again the theme of the novel and the appeal of the writer to the good of human nature. The conclusion is a summary of the thesis.
