腸道菌Akkermansia muciniphila的特性及其與機體健康的關(guān)系

【摘要】:Akkermansia muciniphila是一種從糞便中分離到的嚴格厭氧腸道菌,在腸道中的豐度通常占1%-3%,可以利用腸道黏蛋白作為唯一碳源和氮源進行生長,主要代謝產(chǎn)物為丙酸。Akkermansia muciniphila在腸道中的定殖與宿主的健康息息相關(guān),它可以改善肥胖、糖尿病患者的炎癥反應(yīng)以及胰島素抵抗和葡萄糖耐受等不良癥狀,還可以調(diào)節(jié)機體的免疫應(yīng)答,維持體內(nèi)代謝平衡。雖然多數(shù)情況下該菌表現(xiàn)出有益作用,也有個別研究發(fā)現(xiàn)高血紅素鐵膳食誘導(dǎo)的腸道上皮細胞增生與Akkermansia muciniphila豐度的增加有關(guān),可破壞腸道黏液層。然而,關(guān)于該菌利用黏蛋白的代謝機制及其影響宿主健康的機制尚不清楚,有待進一步探索。
[Abstract]:Akkermansia muciniphila, a strictly anaerobic bacteria isolated from feces, is usually abundant in the gut, and can grow with intestinal mucin as the sole carbon and nitrogen source.The main metabolite is propionic acid. Akkermansia muciniphila colonization in the intestine is closely related to the health of the host, it can improve obesity, the inflammatory response of diabetic patients, insulin resistance and glucose tolerance and other adverse symptoms.Can also regulate the body's immune response, maintain a balance of metabolism in the body.Although the bacteria showed beneficial effects in most cases, some studies have found that the proliferation of intestinal epithelial cells induced by high heme iron diet is related to the increase of Akkermansia muciniphila abundance, which can destroy the intestinal mucus layer.However, the metabolic mechanism of the utilization of mucin and the mechanism of affecting the host health are not clear, and need to be further explored.
