　　隱喻是人類生活中的一部分：它不僅在日常語(yǔ)言交流中無(wú)處不在,而且存在于更為抽象的人類認(rèn)知思維和行為之中。隱喻研究經(jīng)歷了較為漫長(zhǎng)的歷史發(fā)展階段,人們也越來(lái)越認(rèn)識(shí)到它不僅是用來(lái)裝飾語(yǔ)言的一種修辭手段,而且還是人類思維體系的基礎(chǔ)。由于隱喻的這一特征,隱喻的理解很大程度上依賴語(yǔ)境分析,而各種語(yǔ)言又受到文化差異的影響和制約,因此隱喻的可譯性問(wèn)題以及如何最大限度地降低隱喻的不可譯程度成為隱喻翻譯研究的焦點(diǎn)和難題。Sperber和Wilson(1986)提出的關(guān)聯(lián)理論為隱喻翻譯研究開(kāi)辟了新的視角。該理論重在研究人類交際中說(shuō)話人與聽(tīng)話人的認(rèn)知思維活動(dòng),認(rèn)為人類語(yǔ)言交際是一個(gè)通過(guò)尋找關(guān)聯(lián)而進(jìn)行明示——推理的過(guò)程,而理論中對(duì)如何獲得最佳關(guān)聯(lián)問(wèn)題以及語(yǔ)境等因素重要性的闡釋為隱喻翻譯提供了十分有價(jià)值的參考。譯者身兼兩職,既是原文讀者又是譯文作者,即關(guān)聯(lián)理論中的聽(tīng)話人和說(shuō)話人；關(guān)聯(lián)理論的應(yīng)用為譯者對(duì)隱喻的理解和創(chuàng)作和方法選擇提供了合理的解釋和分析。 本論文旨在從關(guān)聯(lián)理論角度出發(fā)歸納總結(jié)出有效的隱喻翻譯方法。通過(guò)分析關(guān)聯(lián)理論和隱喻翻譯的關(guān)系以及關(guān)聯(lián)理論對(duì)隱喻翻譯的指導(dǎo)性意義,作者從該理論角度出發(fā)總結(jié)出了五個(gè)隱喻翻譯...
