口譯是一種跨文化的交際活動(dòng),但口譯并非只是簡(jiǎn)單的語(yǔ)言符號(hào)之間的轉(zhuǎn)換。在諸多影響口譯質(zhì)量的因素中,語(yǔ)境在口譯過(guò)程中扮演著十分重要的角色。語(yǔ)言是人們的交際工具,并且人們的一切語(yǔ)言交際活動(dòng)總是在一定的交際環(huán)境中進(jìn)行的。語(yǔ)境既包括語(yǔ)言因素,如書(shū)面語(yǔ)言的上下文、口語(yǔ)中的前言后語(yǔ)等,也包括非語(yǔ)言因素,如交際的時(shí)間、地點(diǎn)、場(chǎng)合、時(shí)代、交際對(duì)象以及社會(huì)、文化背景、自然環(huán)境等。而口譯中語(yǔ)境的作用也一直是中外學(xué)者研究的焦點(diǎn)。 通過(guò)對(duì)吉爾序列模式的研究,作者發(fā)現(xiàn)這一模式提供了一個(gè)新的角度來(lái)探索口譯過(guò)程以及影響口譯質(zhì)量的諸多因素。其中提到的幾個(gè)重要概念引發(fā)了作者對(duì)口譯過(guò)程的新的認(rèn)識(shí)。吉爾在序列模式中指出意義猜想主要是由譯者的知識(shí)基礎(chǔ)決定的,但是知識(shí)基礎(chǔ)的不同,也可能造成意義猜想的不同,根據(jù)這一觀點(diǎn),作者產(chǎn)生了結(jié)合吉爾的序列模式,對(duì)語(yǔ)境的功能進(jìn)行探索的想法,并對(duì)語(yǔ)境在口譯中的作用進(jìn)行分析。 語(yǔ)境是進(jìn)行意義猜想的一個(gè)重要工具。本文結(jié)合吉爾序列模式,以海峽兩岸口譯大賽上各選手的表現(xiàn)為例,對(duì)語(yǔ)境在口譯過(guò)程中的作用進(jìn)行分析。 在吉爾序列模式的指導(dǎo)下,結(jié)合對(duì)口譯案例的分析,作者發(fā)現(xiàn)語(yǔ)境在口譯中能幫助譯者有效地的進(jìn)行意義猜...
