翻譯是將一種語言中的語言和非語言交際符號轉(zhuǎn)移到另一種語言中去的活動。隨著中國經(jīng)濟的迅速發(fā)展,國際交往也越來越頻繁,而公示語的翻譯也起著無比重要的作用。在公示語的翻譯中,應盡量遵循簡潔、易懂、得體三大原則。正如紐馬克所說“這種文本必須使用讓讀者一看就能夠明白的語言�！惫菊Z的翻譯,首先應該盡量簡單化,應將譯文讀者的文化習慣放在第一位,使譯文符合英語表達習慣和思維方式,要選擇適當?shù)脑捳Z形式來表達語用用意,最終,使外國友人一看即懂,真正達到對外交流和宣傳的目的。公示語的目的在于發(fā)揮其如下功能:指示功能、提示功能、限制功能、強制功能,給接受者日常生活中提供各個方面的方便。一個好的公示語,必定給中國帶來更好的國際形象。 20世紀70年代,德國出現(xiàn)了功能派翻譯理論,其代表人物是賴斯、費米爾、諾德,他們認為翻譯是一種有目的的行為,翻譯過程是由翻譯目的所決定的,也就是預期結(jié)果決定翻譯方法。目的法則是費米爾提出的,它是翻譯的最高標準,翻譯目的決定翻譯的方法和策略。功能加忠誠理論是由諾德提出的,它是德國功能派理論最重要的部分。功能法則意味著制造一個目的語語境。忠誠法則要求譯者應該忠實于原文作者。本文旨在從...
