例證,作為詞典中必不可少的一個部分,一直為雙語詞典編纂者及詞典用戶所關注。一定程度上來講,沒有例證的詞目于讀者而言用處不大,因為例證在幫助詞目釋義、翻譯及引證和闡述詞目用法方面不可或缺。就漢英詞典而言,一方面,條目的例證可以幫助讀者更好地理解并掌握原語條目含義和用法,另一方面詞典中所提供的這些例證的英譯又有助于促進讀者的寫作和翻譯。 鑒于例證在雙語詞典,尤其是漢英詞典中的重要性,本文將以漢英詞典為研究對象,對漢英詞典條目的例證進行較為系統(tǒng)的研究,文章主要討論例證的定義、分類、功能,當前漢英詞典在例證方面所存在的問題,并在此基礎上重點研究例證的翻譯,以期進一步促進我國漢英詞典的編纂工作。 本文共分五章,第一章為簡介,簡要論述該研究的背景和意義,以及當前的研究現(xiàn)狀。第二章闡述雙語詞典例證的定義、分類、編排及功能。第三章重點討論目前漢英詞典例證方面所存在的六大問題。第四章則詳細研究雙語詞典中例證的翻譯問題。本章首先指出漢英詞典例證翻譯的難點所在,然后針對這些難點提出一些需要遵循的指導原則,以及適用的翻譯方法和技巧,旨在進一步推進雙語詞典,尤其是漢英詞典的例證翻譯工作。最后一章為結語,總結本文...
