例證,作為詞典中必不可少的一個(gè)部分,一直為雙語(yǔ)詞典編纂者及詞典用戶所關(guān)注。一定程度上來(lái)講,沒(méi)有例證的詞目于讀者而言用處不大,因?yàn)槔C在幫助詞目釋義、翻譯及引證和闡述詞目用法方面不可或缺。就漢英詞典而言,一方面,條目的例證可以幫助讀者更好地理解并掌握原語(yǔ)條目含義和用法,另一方面詞典中所提供的這些例證的英譯又有助于促進(jìn)讀者的寫(xiě)作和翻譯。 鑒于例證在雙語(yǔ)詞典,尤其是漢英詞典中的重要性,本文將以漢英詞典為研究對(duì)象,對(duì)漢英詞典條目的例證進(jìn)行較為系統(tǒng)的研究,文章主要討論例證的定義、分類、功能,當(dāng)前漢英詞典在例證方面所存在的問(wèn)題,并在此基礎(chǔ)上重點(diǎn)研究例證的翻譯,以期進(jìn)一步促進(jìn)我國(guó)漢英詞典的編纂工作。 本文共分五章,第一章為簡(jiǎn)介,簡(jiǎn)要論述該研究的背景和意義,以及當(dāng)前的研究現(xiàn)狀。第二章闡述雙語(yǔ)詞典例證的定義、分類、編排及功能。第三章重點(diǎn)討論目前漢英詞典例證方面所存在的六大問(wèn)題。第四章則詳細(xì)研究雙語(yǔ)詞典中例證的翻譯問(wèn)題。本章首先指出漢英詞典例證翻譯的難點(diǎn)所在,然后針對(duì)這些難點(diǎn)提出一些需要遵循的指導(dǎo)原則,以及適用的翻譯方法和技巧,旨在進(jìn)一步推進(jìn)雙語(yǔ)詞典,尤其是漢英詞典的例證翻譯工作。最后一章為結(jié)語(yǔ),總結(jié)本文...
