　　有(無)定是一個(gè)重要的語言特征。英語中表達(dá)相關(guān)概念的原型詞為定冠詞the及不定冠詞a/an。漢語雖然沒有與英語the相對(duì)應(yīng)的定冠詞,但這并不意味著漢語里缺乏有(無)定這一語言特征。相反,漢語表示有(無)定的方法豐富而且復(fù)雜。本文旨在對(duì)英漢語有(無)定這一現(xiàn)象進(jìn)行對(duì)比研究,并通過實(shí)證研究的方法,特別對(duì)漢語的有(無)定現(xiàn)象進(jìn)行研究。英語小說《101條斑點(diǎn)狗》及其漢譯本將作為本文的語料,小說中的英漢語名詞短語將被提取并進(jìn)行比較。在此基礎(chǔ)上,作者將著重對(duì)漢語表示有(無)定的方法及其特點(diǎn)進(jìn)行闡述。研究發(fā)現(xiàn),無論是英語還是漢語,對(duì)有(無)定的判斷并非是絕對(duì)的,獨(dú)立的,相反,判斷時(shí)必須充分考慮相關(guān)語境的影響。此外,有(無)定并非只存在于有類似the或者a/an標(biāo)記的這樣一些名詞短語中,動(dòng)詞、副詞及其他的一些語法范疇也能反映有(無)定這一特征。
