傳統(tǒng)的隱喻觀認(rèn)為隱喻是一種修辭手段,僅僅是一種語言現(xiàn)象。然而,最近認(rèn)知語言學(xué)研究表明隱喻是一種普遍的認(rèn)知現(xiàn)象,普遍存在于我們的日常生活中。根據(jù)概念隱喻理論,我們語言中的概念隱喻植根于我們身體經(jīng)驗(yàn),這被稱為概念隱喻的經(jīng)驗(yàn)基礎(chǔ)；隱喻形成的基礎(chǔ)是來源域和目標(biāo)域之間的相似性,隱喻意義的理解實(shí)際上是將來源域中較為具體的經(jīng)驗(yàn)影射到較為抽象的目標(biāo)域,從而達(dá)到重新認(rèn)識目標(biāo)域特征的目的。情感是較為抽象的概念,因此通常通過隱喻進(jìn)行表達(dá)。研究表明情感概念能過通過各類來源域得到映射,如身體過程與活動(dòng),方位詞,流體等等。并且有些學(xué)者指出天氣也可作為一種來源域來隱喻情感,但是對于具體如何隱喻各類情感,英漢語中存在哪些異同,尚無系統(tǒng)的研究。本文講選取五類情感,包括快樂,憤怒,冷漠,悲傷以及恐懼,基于詞典及語料庫,找出英漢語中能反映該五類情感的有關(guān)天氣詞,并通過例句分析英漢語如何采用天氣詞隱喻各類情感,然后進(jìn)行英漢對比,歸納總結(jié)出英漢語中天氣詞語情感隱喻的共性與個(gè)性,并從地理、文化、語言等三個(gè)方面分析出可能的原因。作為對情感隱喻研究的一個(gè)補(bǔ)充,該研究不僅能夠進(jìn)一步證實(shí)和發(fā)展概念隱喻理論,并且能幫助英語學(xué)習(xí)者更好的理解...
