【摘要】： 本文旨在對(duì)中英文求職信的體裁結(jié)構(gòu)進(jìn)行對(duì)比分析。作者從功能語(yǔ)言學(xué)的角度，首先對(duì)六十封中英文求職信進(jìn)行“話步分析”(move analysis)，以實(shí)現(xiàn)一定交際目的作為判定“話步”的原則，由此確定了中文求職信共有九個(gè)不同的話步，英文求職信共有七個(gè)不同的話步。同時(shí)，本文運(yùn)用“文體潛勢(shì)結(jié)構(gòu)”(GSP)理論分析得出，不同的話步在求職信的體裁構(gòu)成上的地位也不同。研究結(jié)果揭示了同一體裁在不同種社會(huì)文化中其具體的話步構(gòu)成存在很大的差異。最后，作者以一封中文求職信的翻譯為例，指出如果翻譯像求職信這一類(lèi)目的性很強(qiáng)的語(yǔ)篇，譯者必須分析同一語(yǔ)篇在不同文化中的“文體潛勢(shì)結(jié)構(gòu)”，由此在結(jié)構(gòu)和語(yǔ)篇內(nèi)容上做出合適的調(diào)整，這樣才能最大限度的實(shí)現(xiàn)這類(lèi)語(yǔ)篇的交際目的。
