隨著經(jīng)濟(jì)全球化進(jìn)程的積極推動(dòng),在產(chǎn)品設(shè)計(jì)技術(shù)日新月異、國際市場(chǎng)需求高速增長的背景下,醫(yī)療器械的跨國銷售也逐漸成為醫(yī)療器械行業(yè)的發(fā)展戰(zhàn)略之一,從而軟件本地化行業(yè)也得到了推動(dòng)和快速發(fā)展。而作為軟件本地化的一部分,軟件翻譯變得極其重要,不僅僅是因?yàn)檐浖谋镜鼗綄⒎从骋粋�(gè)國家的發(fā)展水平,還因?yàn)獒t(yī)療器械關(guān)乎病人的生命。劣質(zhì)的本地化軟件可能導(dǎo)致操作人員的誤操作,得出不正確的結(jié)果,進(jìn)而影響醫(yī)生對(duì)病人的誤診,最終延誤疾病的治療,甚至可能會(huì)危及病人生命。本文通過對(duì)軟件本地化的介紹,對(duì)功能目的論進(jìn)行回顧和總結(jié),對(duì)醫(yī)療器械軟件字符串的詞匯、句法和風(fēng)格特點(diǎn)進(jìn)行歸納,將功能目的論三原則、翻譯綱要和文化專屬應(yīng)用到軟件字符串翻譯中,并總結(jié)出一套適用的翻譯方法。此外,本文建議醫(yī)療器械軟件字符串的翻譯應(yīng)結(jié)合字符串本身的特點(diǎn)以及醫(yī)療器械產(chǎn)品的特殊性,在實(shí)現(xiàn)翻譯目的的前提下,使譯文能最大限度地具有與原文對(duì)等的功能,并使得目標(biāo)語用戶能方便地使用本地化后的醫(yī)療器械產(chǎn)品。
