翻譯是一個(gè)復(fù)雜的文化交流活動(dòng)。文化是語言賴以生存的土壤,而語言則是文化的載體,所以作為語際交流手段的翻譯,不僅是語言信息的轉(zhuǎn)換過程,更是文化信息的移植。德國16世紀(jì)著名的哲學(xué)家萊布尼茨曾說:“世界上沒有兩片相同的樹葉”。所以文化之間的差異是客觀的存在。由于文化的差異性,不同文化之間的誤讀在所難免�！罢`讀”這一概念原本是閱讀活動(dòng)中的一種現(xiàn)象。它是指讀者對(duì)其閱讀活動(dòng)的對(duì)象,即文本的不正確理解或創(chuàng)造性闡釋。文化誤讀是指對(duì)自己本族或其他民族文化中的某些生僻或普遍問題產(chǎn)生誤解的現(xiàn)象。本文將分析翻譯中的文化誤讀現(xiàn)象產(chǎn)生的原因及其在譯語國家的接受情況,這里的所討論的文化誤讀主要是在翻譯過程中譯者對(duì)他者文化的有意或無意改寫,而不是指一個(gè)簡(jiǎn)單的錯(cuò)誤或失誤。傳統(tǒng)翻譯研究的重點(diǎn)主要集中在源文本與目標(biāo)文本的關(guān)系上,忠實(shí)和對(duì)等是翻譯標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的關(guān)鍵。學(xué)者們大都把注意力主要放在作品本身而忽略了讀者的接受。本文主要建立在哲學(xué)闡釋學(xué)和接受理論的基礎(chǔ)上,讀者的作用進(jìn)一步受到重視。在文化的大背景下,文化誤譯的產(chǎn)生源于諸多因素。一方面,文化差異及文本的歷史性、不確定性使得誤讀成為必然。另一方面,由于理解的歷史性,文化誤譯現(xiàn)象不可...
