譯者為中心的多學(xué)科性翻譯理論建構(gòu) ——道格拉斯·羅賓遜的翻譯理論研究

20世紀(jì)80年代之后的30年間,翻譯研究的發(fā)展日新月異,當(dāng)代西方翻譯理論研究亦呈現(xiàn)出漸趨多元、系統(tǒng)的研究態(tài)勢(shì)和層出不窮的研究成果。在卓有成就的西方翻譯理論家中,美國(guó)學(xué)者道格拉斯·羅賓遜(1954一)及其翻譯理論令人矚目,其豐富的理論思想和深刻的理論批評(píng)不僅體現(xiàn)出其真知灼見(jiàn)的獨(dú)特翻譯觀,而且體現(xiàn)出其頗具建設(shè)性價(jià)值的翻譯理論建構(gòu)思想,在西方翻譯理論界獨(dú)樹一幟。因此,應(yīng)該得到應(yīng)有的重視和研究。羅賓遜是一位多產(chǎn)的學(xué)者,在文學(xué)、文化、語(yǔ)言學(xué)、翻譯等領(lǐng)域都有著廣泛興趣和深入研究,著述頗豐。他在當(dāng)代西方翻譯研究領(lǐng)域亦是一位相當(dāng)活躍、也相當(dāng)有見(jiàn)地的翻譯家、翻譯理論家和文化理論家。他的翻譯理論,以其跨學(xué)科的理論創(chuàng)新和對(duì)社會(huì)翻譯實(shí)踐的深刻洞察,以及對(duì)譯者群體深切的人文關(guān)懷等特點(diǎn),成為具有研究和借鑒價(jià)值的翻譯理論建構(gòu)的典范。羅賓遜廣闊的學(xué)術(shù)視野和豐富的翻譯實(shí)踐經(jīng)驗(yàn)使他對(duì)翻譯活動(dòng)和社會(huì)的復(fù)雜關(guān)系進(jìn)行了深入思考,并形成了自己獨(dú)到的見(jiàn)解和理論體系。他的博學(xué)與創(chuàng)新精神使他重新審視當(dāng)代西方翻譯理論的發(fā)展,并以自己“譯者解放”的革命性理論主題向二元論、唯理論、工具論、完美論等陳舊的翻譯觀念提出挑戰(zhàn)。他一直致力于探索在譯...
