【摘要】：筆者對(duì)國(guó)內(nèi)外近20年來的有關(guān)言語行為的文獻(xiàn)進(jìn)行了搜索，發(fā)現(xiàn)有3篇專門論述威脅言語行為的論文。這3篇文章所使用的語言皆為英語，并都以英語國(guó)家為背景。雖然許多其他的學(xué)者在他們文章中也順便提到過威脅言語行為，但是學(xué)術(shù)界對(duì)這一言語行為的理解還只停留在直覺上。 本文對(duì)中美大學(xué)生威脅言語行為進(jìn)行了對(duì)比研究，第一次比較系統(tǒng)地研究了威脅言語行為在中美大學(xué)生中的實(shí)施情況。具體內(nèi)容包括：威脅言語行為的實(shí)現(xiàn)模式、人們?yōu)檫_(dá)到最終目的所采取的各種策略、社會(huì)變量對(duì)實(shí)現(xiàn)模式和策略選擇的影響。 本文采用了定性研究與定量研究相結(jié)合的方法。筆者以前人的相關(guān)研究成果以及筆者與自己的美國(guó)學(xué)習(xí)伙伴之間的交流為基礎(chǔ)，設(shè)計(jì)了兩種調(diào)查問卷，分別對(duì)美國(guó)的Towson University和中國(guó)的安徽大學(xué)的不同專業(yè)的四個(gè)班級(jí)的84名和86名學(xué)生進(jìn)行了問卷調(diào)查。在170份有效問卷所包括的1360個(gè)情景當(dāng)中，有935個(gè)情景中出現(xiàn)了威脅言語行為，，其中有480個(gè)情景中的威脅言語行為由中國(guó)大學(xué)生發(fā)出，455個(gè)由美國(guó)大學(xué)生發(fā)出。 在對(duì)問卷全面分析和研究的基礎(chǔ)上，筆者首先提出了3種威脅言語行為的實(shí)現(xiàn)模式。X~2檢驗(yàn)結(jié)果表明這3種實(shí)現(xiàn)模式在中美大學(xué)生之間存在著文化差異，在兩國(guó)間的同性和異性比較上也有統(tǒng)計(jì)學(xué)上的顯著差異，但是在各自國(guó)家內(nèi)不存在性別差異。 接著，筆者又提出了實(shí)施威脅言語行為的4種具體策略。X~2檢驗(yàn)結(jié)果顯示這4種實(shí)施策略在中美大學(xué)生之間存在著文化差異，在兩國(guó)間的女性和異性比較上也有統(tǒng)計(jì)學(xué)上的顯著差異，但是在兩國(guó)間的男性比較上沒有顯著差異，在各自國(guó)家內(nèi)也不存在性別差異。 本文還考慮了社會(huì)距離、相對(duì)權(quán)力和社會(huì)場(chǎng)景在人們決定發(fā)出威脅言語行為時(shí)所起的作用。X~2檢驗(yàn)結(jié)果證實(shí)社會(huì)距離和相對(duì)權(quán)力在兩個(gè)國(guó)家間、兩國(guó)間的同性和異性以及各自國(guó)家內(nèi)的異性之間所發(fā)揮的作用是相同的，對(duì)實(shí)現(xiàn)模式也沒有影響。但是社會(huì)場(chǎng)景卻是人們?cè)诖蛩惆l(fā)出威脅言語行為時(shí)不得不考慮的因素，因?yàn)楸疚乃芯康娜齻€(gè)場(chǎng)景的誘導(dǎo)率之間存在著統(tǒng)計(jì)學(xué)上的顯著差異。為了進(jìn)一
