【摘要】：張谷若是我國著名翻譯家,被文學(xué)界譽(yù)為“哈代專家”。從上世紀(jì)三十年代以其兩部成功譯著引起翻譯界廣泛關(guān)注以來,其英國文學(xué)經(jīng)典譯著不斷問世,受到譯界普遍好評(píng)。其翻譯思想,日益為譯界所關(guān)注。他畢生從事英國文學(xué)翻譯和研究,其特點(diǎn)為譯文典雅忠實(shí)、注釋深入詳盡。在當(dāng)前研究其翻譯思想及譯著無疑具有現(xiàn)實(shí)意義。 本文試圖多角度研究作為翻譯家的張谷若,剖析其翻譯思想,并歸納分析其文學(xué)翻譯特色,同時(shí)選擇其譯作與其他譯家之相關(guān)譯作,從歸化及異化角度進(jìn)行嘗試性比較評(píng)析,再之還力圖闡明對(duì)其譯學(xué)思想和翻譯實(shí)踐進(jìn)行研究的實(shí)踐意義。 除引言與結(jié)語外,本文包括五個(gè)部分: 引言簡要介紹本文的主題與基本結(jié)構(gòu); 第一章概括性介紹張谷若的翻譯生涯和翻譯作品及其在翻譯界的地位及影響,使讀者簡要了解作為翻譯家的張谷若; 第二章系統(tǒng)梳理并分析張谷若的主要翻譯思想,主要涉及:1)“地道的原文,地道的譯文”的翻譯原則;2)文學(xué)翻譯“為科學(xué)亦為藝術(shù),為藝術(shù)亦為科學(xué)”;3)翻譯與研究相結(jié)合;4)重視譯文讀者。本章通過結(jié)合傳統(tǒng)譯學(xué)思想,對(duì)張谷若代表性翻譯思想進(jìn)行闡釋分析,以總結(jié)出其翻譯思想在中國譯壇的歷史及現(xiàn)實(shí)意義;
