【摘要】：本論文主要從認(rèn)知的角度對(duì)中英文的通感現(xiàn)象進(jìn)行了研究。通感是感覺(jué)的混合，是同時(shí)發(fā)生的讓人感覺(jué)到的多種感覺(jué)，是人在受到一種刺激時(shí)產(chǎn)生的多種感覺(jué)上的反映。通感是修辭學(xué)界原先常用的術(shù)語(yǔ)，以往的研究側(cè)重于把通感作為一種修辭手段來(lái)進(jìn)行研究。Lakoff和Johnson的概念隱喻理論的問(wèn)世，為人們對(duì)于其它修辭現(xiàn)象的研究提供了新思路和新方法。有些人從認(rèn)知的角度對(duì)通感進(jìn)行了研究，并取得一些成果，然而這些研究都還存在不夠系統(tǒng)和深入的問(wèn)題。本文不同于傳統(tǒng)的修辭學(xué)的角度，嘗試借助于概念隱喻理論對(duì)于隱喻的研究方法，從認(rèn)知的角度對(duì)通感進(jìn)行研究。本論文認(rèn)為，通感和隱喻一樣，不僅是一個(gè)語(yǔ)言問(wèn)題，也是人的思維問(wèn)題。因此，人們對(duì)通感的理解也遵循人類(lèi)的一般認(rèn)知規(guī)律。通感的應(yīng)用和理解與人類(lèi)文化有密切聯(lián)系并且在社會(huì)生活各方面都有著廣泛的應(yīng)用。因此，對(duì)于通感的認(rèn)知研究不僅具有理論價(jià)值，還有重要的社會(huì)意義。 本文共分為五章。第一章為文獻(xiàn)綜述，介紹了什么是通感，以往的研究對(duì)于通感現(xiàn)象的存在與否的爭(zhēng)議，盡管在很大程度上通感與比喻存在著相似性，可修辭學(xué)領(lǐng)域的研究卻把通感排斥于比喻之外。 第二章介紹了Lakoff和Johnson的概念隱喻理論。該理論提出隱喻不僅是語(yǔ)言修辭手段，而且還是人們認(rèn)知世界的一種思維和行為方式。它對(duì)于通感現(xiàn)象的認(rèn)知研究提供了方法上的指導(dǎo)。 第三章和第四章從認(rèn)知的角度對(duì)通感進(jìn)行研究，，這是本文的重點(diǎn)所在。第三章證明了通感是一種特殊的認(rèn)知現(xiàn)象，也是一種特殊的隱喻。論證的角度有通感的本質(zhì)、起源、功能、認(rèn)知結(jié)構(gòu)和認(rèn)知規(guī)律等。第四章則對(duì)英漢通感現(xiàn)象的異同進(jìn)行了比較，并從認(rèn)知的角度分析了產(chǎn)生這些異同的原因。 最后一章結(jié)合實(shí)例，從認(rèn)知角度介紹和分析了通感在中英文中的應(yīng)用，主要闡述了通感在廣告、文學(xué)和教學(xué)等方面的應(yīng)用特點(diǎn)。通過(guò)研究，我們發(fā)現(xiàn)通感現(xiàn)象是廣泛存在于我們的社會(huì)生活之中的，我們總是在自覺(jué)或不自覺(jué)地應(yīng)用著通感。
