【摘要】：正W.Tecumseh Fitch的《語言演化》(The Evolution of Language)綜合了現(xiàn)代生物學(xué)、當(dāng)代語言學(xué)、考古學(xué)和古人類學(xué)等相關(guān)學(xué)科的最新研究成果,從跨學(xué)科角度討論了人類語言的起源和演化。該書由劍橋大學(xué)出版社2010年出版,共15章,除引言和結(jié)論外,分為四部分。下面介紹其主要內(nèi)容。第一部分(1—4章)討論了語言生物性的研究基礎(chǔ)和相關(guān)理論。作為當(dāng)前最棘手的問題,語言起源和演化研究如同盲人摸象。不同學(xué)科的研究者依據(jù)自身
[Abstract]:Positive W.Tecumseh Fitch's "language Evolution" (The Evolution of Language) combines the latest research achievements in modern biology, contemporary linguistics, archaeology and palaeoanthropology, and discusses the origin and evolution of human language from an interdisciplinary perspective. The book, published by Cambridge University Press in 2010, consists of 15 chapters, divided into four parts, in addition to the introduction and conclusion. The main contents are described below. In the first part (Chapter 4), the research foundation and related theories of linguistic biology are discussed.
