中英經濟類演講人際意義的研究

【摘要】:眾所周知,主題內容與多種經濟事件密切相關的經濟類公共演講在眾多公共演講中扮演著不可或缺的重要角色。經濟類演作為一類重要的公共演講,有著一些特定的特點和性質:如大多數經濟類演講力求給出精確的數字和數據,并且內容詳實,富有邏輯性和勸說性。鑒于以往的學者更多的專注于研究政治類演講而不是經濟類演講,本文選取相同政治地位的兩國政治領導在世界經濟論壇上做出的兩篇經濟類演講語料作為研究內容。一篇是中國國家總理溫家寶在2011年大連夏季達沃斯年會上的演講,另一篇是英國首相大衛(wèi)卡梅論在2012年在瑞士冬季達沃斯年會上的演講。 本文以韓禮德的語言元功能中的人際功能作為分析工具,通過定性和定量相結合的研究方法側重分析語氣系統(tǒng),情態(tài)系統(tǒng)以及人稱代詞,時態(tài),詞匯選擇和結構等因素在實現(xiàn)人際意義方面所起到的作用。另外,本文還對文化因素的差異以及非語言信號和副語言在幫助實現(xiàn)人際意義上起到的作用進行了研究和分析。在這個意義上,本文旨在揭示所選兩篇演講樣本中潛在的人際意義并且通過對比分析找出中英經濟類演講在人際意義實現(xiàn)方面的共同點和差別。針對于如下兩個研究問題的進一步研究和討論將繼續(xù)展開: (1)兩篇經濟類演講樣本中體現(xiàn)出何種人際意義? (2)在所選樣本中,,這些人即意義是以何種方式得以實現(xiàn)? 通過中英演講的對比分析,本文得出主要結論如下: (1)中英兩篇經濟類演講都傾向于建立演講者和聽眾的親密關系,側重于激發(fā)相互理解從而尋求潛在經濟合作伙伴而不是與聽眾保持一定的距離。在經濟類公共演講中,人際意義通過語言信息和非語言信號共同實現(xiàn)。人際意義不僅可以通過情態(tài)系統(tǒng)和語氣系統(tǒng)來實現(xiàn),而且也可以通過非語言信號和副語言實現(xiàn),如語調,停頓和沉默。另外,肢體語言中的手勢,甚至眼神交流同樣也實現(xiàn)以上提及的人際意義中起到重要作用。
[Abstract]:As we all know, economic public speeches, which are closely related to various economic events, play an indispensable role in many public speeches. As an important kind of public speech, economic speech has some special features and properties: for example, most economic speeches strive to give accurate numbers and data, and the contents are detailed, logical and persuasive. In view of the previous scholars more focused on the study of political speech than economic speech, this paper selects the two economic speeches made by the political leaders of the same political status in the World Economic Forum as the research content. One was a speech by Chinese Prime Minister Wen Jiabao at the 2011 Summer Davos conference in Dalian, and the other was British Prime Minister David? Kamel spoke at the annual meeting in Davos, Switzerland, in 2012. With the interpersonal function of Halliday's linguistic metafunctions as an analytical tool, this paper focuses on the analysis of mood system, modal system, personal pronouns and tenses through qualitative and quantitative methods. The role of lexical choice and structure in the realization of interpersonal meaning. In addition, the differences of cultural factors and the role of non-verbal signals and paralinguals in helping to realize interpersonal meaning are also studied and analyzed. In this sense, the purpose of this paper is to reveal the potential interpersonal meaning in the two selected speech samples and to find out the similarities and differences in the realization of interpersonal meaning between Chinese and British economic speeches through comparative analysis. Further research and discussion on the following two research issues will continue: (1) what interpersonal meanings are embodied in the two economic speech samples? (2) in the selected samples, In what way is the meaning of these people realized? Through the comparative analysis of Chinese and English speeches, the main conclusions are as follows: (1) both Chinese and English economic speeches tend to establish a close relationship between the speaker and the audience. Focus on stimulating mutual understanding and seeking potential economic partners rather than keeping a distance from the audience. In economic public speaking, interpersonal meaning is realized by language information and non-verbal signal. Interpersonal meaning can be realized not only by modal system and mood system but also by non-verbal signal and paralanguage such as intonation pause and silence. In addition, gestures and even eye contact in body language also play an important role in the interpersonal meaning mentioned above.
