【摘要】：本文以中國古代佛經(jīng)漢譯和《圣經(jīng)》英譯為例,通過對比兩種宗教典籍翻譯理論的發(fā)展,試圖發(fā)現(xiàn)不同語言、不同宗教典籍在翻譯理論發(fā)展趨勢上的相似點。首先回顧佛經(jīng)漢譯理論的發(fā)展。佛經(jīng)漢譯可大致分為四個階段,并在早期發(fā)展出兩大對立的派別,即質(zhì)派與文派。文質(zhì)之爭使佛經(jīng)的翻譯思想和理論逐漸發(fā)展。其次,討論《圣經(jīng)》英譯思想和理論的發(fā)展�！妒ソ�(jīng)》英譯大致可分為三個階段,從死譯到破除《圣經(jīng)》語言的神圣性,《圣經(jīng)》的翻譯總的來說是從字對字翻譯(word-for-word translation)逐漸走向了意譯(free translation)。由于宗教典籍的特殊性,譯者更須注意譯文的忠實性,加之外部政治、宗教團體的操控,在翻譯的肇始階段,其翻譯思想和理論總是保守的,要求譯者字對字的死譯；隨著時代的進步和人類文明的發(fā)展,宗教典籍的翻譯逐漸世俗化、文學(xué)化,這種翻譯策略的變化不僅僅是翻譯本身的進步,也是時代和社會的進步。而探究各種原因,操控理論可以提供一些線索。
[Abstract]:Taking the Chinese translation of the ancient Chinese Buddhist scriptures and the translation of the Bible into English as examples, this paper attempts to find similarities in the development of translation theories in different languages and religions by contrasting the development of translation theories between the two religious classics. First, review the development of Buddhist scriptures translation theory. The Chinese translation of Buddhist sutras can be divided into four stages, and in the early stage, two opposing schools, namely the qualitative school and the literary school, were developed. The dispute of literary quality makes the translation thought and theory of Buddhist scriptures develop gradually. Secondly, it discusses the development of the translation ideas and theories of the Bible into English. The translation of the Bible into English can be roughly divided into three stages. From dead translation to breaking the sanctity of Biblical language, the translation of Bible is generally from word-for-word translation (word-for-word translation) to free translation. Because of the particularity of the religious classics, the translator should pay more attention to the faithfulness of the target text, together with the external politics and the manipulation of the religious group. In the initial stage of translation, his translation thought and theory are always conservative, and the translator is required to translate the words to the dead. With the progress of the times and the development of human civilization, the translation of religious classics is becoming secularized and literary. The change of translation strategies is not only the progress of translation itself, but also the progress of the times and society. And exploring various reasons, manipulation theory can provide some clues.
