【摘要】:《佐治芻言》作為19世紀(jì)晚期為數(shù)不多的一部社會(huì)科學(xué)譯作,關(guān)涉西方政治、經(jīng)濟(jì)、法律及社會(huì)制度,對(duì)晚清知識(shí)分子認(rèn)識(shí)西方政治之學(xué)、促進(jìn)中國近代化進(jìn)程產(chǎn)生重要影響。但目前學(xué)界對(duì)此書的關(guān)注多囿于史學(xué)、社會(huì)學(xué)領(lǐng)域內(nèi)的概述性介紹及學(xué)科相關(guān)術(shù)語的歷史溯源和概念厘清。具體的翻譯研究為數(shù)不多,相關(guān)探討主要涉及譯作的本土化現(xiàn)象。本土化是晚清譯作的普遍特點(diǎn),用其概括《佐》的翻譯特色,略顯泛化和宏觀。鑒于此,本文采用描述性研究方法對(duì)譯作進(jìn)行微觀研究,以文本類型論為指導(dǎo),在細(xì)讀及對(duì)比文本的基礎(chǔ)上,發(fā)現(xiàn)《佐》以中國傳統(tǒng)“論”體文對(duì)原作進(jìn)行改寫,在體例、語體及功能三個(gè)方面符合“論”體文特點(diǎn)。首先,通過強(qiáng)調(diào)論點(diǎn)和充實(shí)論據(jù),強(qiáng)化“論”體體例。與原文相比,《佐》在標(biāo)題中再現(xiàn)論點(diǎn),在結(jié)論處重申論點(diǎn),在論證中樹立論點(diǎn)。采用事例經(jīng)典化及增加類比的方法,充實(shí)論據(jù),進(jìn)一步證明論點(diǎn),強(qiáng)化論證結(jié)構(gòu)。其次,呈現(xiàn)對(duì)立性語體,以特殊的語言形式,如問答體,反問句,對(duì)比,對(duì)仗,改寫原作客觀性、信息型性陳述,突出話語的爭論性和辯證性,揭示“論”體文辯證然否的特征。最后,通過增加政治評(píng)論和表達(dá)政治訴求,彰顯“論”體文的政治功能。晚清西述中譯的翻譯模式使譯本經(jīng)歷了傳教士意譯和華士再表述兩個(gè)環(huán)節(jié)。華士的潤色實(shí)際上是一種合于中國文法的語內(nèi)翻譯過程,也是一種融合了前理解的詮釋過程。本文試圖通過微觀文本對(duì)比和譯例分析,揭示中國傳統(tǒng)詩學(xué)在語內(nèi)翻譯中的作用,探索理解的歷史性引起文本意義創(chuàng)生的過程,對(duì)已有研究進(jìn)行一定的補(bǔ)充。
[Abstract]:As one of the few translations of social sciences in the late 19th century, George's ruminant about western political, economic, legal and social systems has an important impact on the intellectuals' understanding of western politics in the late Qing Dynasty and promoting the process of modernization in China. However, the current academic attention to this book is limited to the history, the introduction in the field of sociology and the historical origin and concept of the related terms. There are few specific translation studies, and the related studies are mainly concerned with the localization of the translated works. Localization is the universal characteristic of the late Qing Dynasty translation, which generalizes and macroscopically generalizes the translation features of Zuo. In view of this, this paper adopts the descriptive research method to carry on the microscopic research to the translation, taking the text type theory as the instruction, on the basis of reading and contrasting the text, finds that "Zuo > rewrites the original work with the Chinese traditional" theory "style. The style and function accord with the characteristics of style and text. First of all, by emphasizing the argument and enriching the argument, strengthen the style of "theory". Compared with the original text, Zuo reproduces the argument in the title, restates the argument at the conclusion, and establishes the argument in the argument. The method of classical examples and adding analogy is adopted to enrich the argument, further prove the argument and strengthen the structure of the argument. Secondly, it presents opposites, in particular language forms, such as question and answer, rhetorical, contrastive, opposites, rewriting the original, informative statements, and highlights the argumentative and dialectical nature of the discourse. It reveals the dialectical nature of "on". Finally, by adding political comments and expressing political demands, the political function of the essay is revealed. In the late Qing Dynasty, the translation mode of western narration made the translation go through two links: the free translation of missionaries and the restatement of Chinese characters. As a matter of fact, the refinement of Chinese is an intra-lingual translation process in accordance with Chinese grammar, and it is also a process of interpretation that combines pre-comprehension. This paper attempts to reveal the role of Chinese traditional poetics in intra-lingual translation through microtext comparison and case analysis, to explore the process of historical understanding that leads to the creation of textual meaning, and to supplement existing studies.
