【摘要】：隨著世界文化交流的日益擴大，翻譯起著越來越重要的作用。本文從文化交流的角度出發(fā)，分析了語言和文化的密切關(guān)系及文化差異產(chǎn)生的原因，，并指出翻譯過程中文化信息的損失不可避免，文化的可譯性只是一個限度問題，即如何最大限度地保留原語的文化信息。本文分析了產(chǎn)生文化損失的原因，試圖尋找解決的辦法。這對于有效地提高譯文的質(zhì)量，促進跨文化交流，在理論上和實踐上都有著重要的指導(dǎo)意義。作者探討了一些翻譯家們的翻譯理論，并對翻譯本質(zhì)提出一些個人見解。接著，作者以《浮生六記》的三個譯本為實例，從文化角度對譯本進行分析和評論。在這三個譯本比較中，作者分析了譯者是如何根據(jù)翻譯目的來有效地傳達(dá)文化信息，如何處理文化負(fù)載詞，試圖從中找到對應(yīng)的翻譯策略和技巧來彌補翻譯過程中的文化損失。在這三個譯本里，譯者有益的理論和實際的翻譯技巧不僅給我們提供了參考，也為以后文化翻譯提供了一個很好的借鑒。本文最后指出，文化差異是客觀存在的，文化的損失不可避免，可譯限度并非靜止不變，而是動態(tài)變化的。隨著中西文化的交流，可譯度將越來越高。
