【摘要】：作為文學(xué)的一個重要組成部分,兒童文學(xué)既有一般文學(xué)的特點(diǎn),又有其自身的顯著特色。優(yōu)秀的兒童文學(xué)譯作不僅可以為我國兒童成長提供精神食糧,而且可以鼓勵兒童文學(xué)的不斷創(chuàng)作。近年來,國內(nèi)眾多學(xué)者從不同角度對兒童文學(xué)的翻譯進(jìn)行了不斷探索,并取得了許多重要成果。但是,從文學(xué)翻譯的整體角度來看,兒童文學(xué)翻譯仍然處于邊緣位置。 目的論是七十年代后期德國功能學(xué)派提出的翻譯理論。其核心內(nèi)容是：譯本的預(yù)期目的在很大程度上受到譯本讀者文化背景的制約,而這個預(yù)期目的決定著翻譯的策略。它不再局限于翻譯的對等問題,將翻譯視為一種人類有目的的活動,認(rèn)為譯者可以通過靈活變通來滿足目標(biāo)讀者的需求。它要求譯者在著手翻譯之前首先要明確譯本的目的,然后在這一目的的指導(dǎo)下進(jìn)行翻譯,翻譯策略的選擇也要以翻譯目的為導(dǎo)向。 不同的翻譯目的引領(lǐng)了不同的翻譯活動。任何翻譯活動都必須有明確的目的為指導(dǎo),兒童文學(xué)更是如此�！稖贰に鱽啔v險記》是美國文豪馬克·吐溫的第一部成名兒童小說,也是最優(yōu)秀的世界兒童驚險小說之一,在世界兒童文學(xué)中享有盛譽(yù)。本文作者通過回顧兒童文學(xué)和目的論的發(fā)展,選取《湯姆·索亞歷險記》兩個不同時代的漢譯本為例,從目的論的三原則,即目的原則,連貫原則和忠實原則,對原文和譯文及兩漢譯本之間進(jìn)行了深入的對比研究。經(jīng)過仔細(xì)研究,作者發(fā)現(xiàn)了兩漢譯本的不同之處以及導(dǎo)致兩漢譯本不同的原因,并得出在目的論三原則的指導(dǎo)下,譯者可采用合適的翻譯策略和方法達(dá)到各自不同的翻譯目的。
