本文關(guān)鍵詞：從后殖民主義視角解讀《京華煙云》中文化負(fù)載詞的糖衣翻譯，由筆耕文化傳播整理發(fā)布。

【摘要】：隨著中國(guó)對(duì)外交流的發(fā)展,翻譯已然成為了中國(guó)文化走出去的重要方式。然而,在翻譯的過程中,人們發(fā)現(xiàn)由于中西文化的差異,漢英翻譯,尤其是中國(guó)的文化負(fù)載詞的翻譯障礙重重。因而在翻譯中選擇一個(gè)好的策略尤為重要。1989年中國(guó)著名翻譯家王佐良先生提出了包裹糖衣的策略,13年后,孫藝風(fēng)教授更進(jìn)一步解讀了糖衣翻譯,并建議在今日對(duì)外翻譯中我們也應(yīng)該裹著糖衣向外輸出我們的本土文化。 然而,根據(jù)作者收集到的資料來看,除了這兩位大家以外,對(duì)糖衣這一翻譯策略的研究少之又少,而其具體的做法也是無人研究。因此,本文把“糖衣翻譯”作為研究對(duì)象,在借鑒前人相關(guān)研究的基礎(chǔ)上從后殖民主義理論的視角來解讀這一個(gè)翻譯策略。本文采用了定性研究的方法。通過列舉實(shí)例,介紹相關(guān)文獻(xiàn),以及文本比較等方法來說明糖衣翻譯的重要性,以及在對(duì)外交流中如何包裹糖衣,傳播中國(guó)文化。 本文首先根據(jù)前人的研究定義糖衣翻譯,提出糖衣翻譯在傳播文化中的重要性。然后通過對(duì)《京華煙云》中文化負(fù)載詞的英文表達(dá)的分析研究糖衣翻譯的具體策略。 具體來講,本文以林語(yǔ)堂所著《京華煙云》為個(gè)案分析,通過林語(yǔ)堂對(duì)其中漢語(yǔ)文化詞的英文表述的研究,探索在全球化的背景下,糖衣翻譯的運(yùn)用和影響。通過研究本文得出如下結(jié)論：1)通過對(duì)糖衣翻譯,語(yǔ)言,文化聯(lián)系的分析,提出在對(duì)外翻譯時(shí)可以采用糖衣翻譯,在保持中國(guó)文化的獨(dú)特性的基礎(chǔ)上增加翻譯文本的可讀性；2)通過對(duì)《京華煙云》里面文化負(fù)載詞翻譯的分析,提出糖衣翻譯能夠在最大的可能上求同存異,實(shí)現(xiàn)漢語(yǔ)(中國(guó)文化)和英語(yǔ)(西方文化)的相對(duì)平衡；3)糖衣翻譯可以通過添加,解釋,再創(chuàng)造等方式達(dá)到。 在后殖民主義的語(yǔ)境下糖衣翻譯能夠在不影響中西交流的同時(shí)最大限度的保持中國(guó)文化的獨(dú)特性。本文通過對(duì)糖衣翻譯的研究,尤其是它對(duì)于文化特色詞這種特殊語(yǔ)言形式的翻譯研究發(fā)現(xiàn)糖衣翻譯能夠從中西文化的交匯點(diǎn)來闡述標(biāo)明中國(guó)文化之于西方文化的特殊性。鑒于此,本文認(rèn)為糖衣翻譯亦可廣泛運(yùn)用于今后的跨文化交際和翻譯中,傳播中國(guó)文化,并作為另一種有效的文化抵抗策略,防止文化霸權(quán)的產(chǎn)生。
