本文關(guān)鍵詞：從翻譯審美角度對《紅樓夢》兩個英譯本的翻譯風格對比研究，由筆耕文化傳播整理發(fā)布。

【摘要】：曹雪芹(?1715-?1763)的《紅樓夢》是四大名著之一,成書于清代。雖然曹雪芹經(jīng)歷了生活中的重大轉(zhuǎn)折,并且深感世態(tài)炎涼,但他在《紅樓夢》中體現(xiàn)了中國上層社會的審美取向,其敘述并未采用邏輯順序和理論方法,更多地強調(diào)感性體驗的特點,因而他的審美是典型的東方特點。由于作者特有的審美取向,所以該書的翻譯對想要了解中國的外國讀者十分必要�！都t樓夢》中大量描寫了中國傳統(tǒng)文化及社會生活習(xí)慣.譯者如何處理這些描寫,及譯者在這一過程中所展現(xiàn)的不同風格具有研究價值。本文運用劉宓慶的翻譯審美理論來比較和分析霍克斯與楊憲益的《紅樓夢》英譯本。根據(jù)翻譯審美理論,譯者由于不同的翻譯審美會采用不同的詞句,段落及翻譯策略。詞匯層面,句法層面和篇章層面的區(qū)別形成了風格的標志。最基本的語言美源于“優(yōu)化詞語搭配”。聲美,形美,意美缺一不可。這里面的“意美”還包括意義與意像。這就決定了譯本是是否成功承載并傳達原文的美。本文希望通過霍克斯與楊憲益的翻譯審美進行描述性研究來分析這兩位譯者各自的翻譯審美觀點及其翻譯寫作風格。比較發(fā)現(xiàn),因為其二人審美具有很大差異,所以其詞語標記、句法標記和章法標記所表現(xiàn)出來的翻譯風格相去甚遠�？傊�,筆者認為,不同的行文風格和翻譯審美決定不同的譯出成果的審美再現(xiàn)。
