先鋒派作家余華寫作風(fēng)格獨特,所創(chuàng)著作在國內(nèi)外廣受贊譽。其作品頻繁使用前景化手法,以突顯作家文風(fēng)特色。在其長篇小說《許三觀賣血記》中,前景化現(xiàn)象也得到充分體現(xiàn)。前景化作為文體學(xué)中的核心概念,現(xiàn)被廣泛應(yīng)用于英譯作品研究。本文選取美國學(xué)者Andrew F.Jones所譯的《許三觀賣血記》英譯本,根據(jù)Leech與Short提出的前景化理論,分別從質(zhì)量前景化和數(shù)量前景化兩個層面,分析小說英譯本中的前景化現(xiàn)象,總結(jié)譯者采用的翻譯原則和方法,希望能夠?qū)χ袊膶W(xué)翻譯研究提供一定的啟發(fā)。本文將具體研究以下問題:首先,在翻譯過程中,譯者如何處理質(zhì)量前景化和數(shù)量前景化?效果如何?其次,譯者遵循了哪些翻譯原則?最后,針對不同類型的前景化,譯者采用了哪些翻譯方法?經(jīng)過案例分析和描述性研究得知:原著中較多地使用前景化手法,如:詞匯偏離、語義偏離、重復(fù)和平行結(jié)構(gòu)。譯者雖然在譯文中較好地保留了前景化現(xiàn)象,但也不可避免地忽視了部分前景化,造成該前景化效果缺失甚至誤導(dǎo)讀者。在翻譯原則上,譯者遵循了等效原則和可讀性原則,盡可能地在譯文中還原前景化效果。在翻譯方法上,譯者在翻譯質(zhì)量前景化時,較多地采用直譯和意譯的翻譯方法;在...
