目的論視角下《豐乳肥臀》中文化專有項(xiàng)翻譯策略的研究

翻譯作為一種語際交際活動(dòng)不僅僅是一種純語言的轉(zhuǎn)換,而是建立在不同語言基礎(chǔ)上的文化之間的交流。2012年,中國(guó)作家莫言憑借《豐乳肥臀》獲得諾貝爾文學(xué)獎(jiǎng)。葛浩文的翻譯贏得了西方世界的尊重,還為中國(guó)文化走向世界作出了杰出的貢獻(xiàn)。該論文主要研究了文化負(fù)載詞的翻譯策略。作者將文化負(fù)載詞分為兩類:專有名詞和習(xí)慣表達(dá)。該論文結(jié)合艾克西拉提出的文化負(fù)載詞的翻譯策略,對(duì)《豐乳肥臀》中文化專有項(xiàng)的翻譯策略進(jìn)行了研究。研究發(fā)現(xiàn)譯者在翻譯文化專有項(xiàng)時(shí),主要采用了八種策略,分別是轉(zhuǎn)換拼寫法,語言(非文化)解釋,文外解釋,文內(nèi)解釋,使用同義詞,絕對(duì)泛化,同化和刪除策略。前四種策略譯者試圖忠實(shí)于原文并保留文化專有項(xiàng)的原始含義和形式;后四種策略屬于替換策略,譯者試圖滿足目的語讀者的需求并保持文本內(nèi)部的一致性�？偠灾�,譯者采用不同的翻譯策略來傳播中國(guó)文化。翻譯人名和地名的時(shí)候主要采用了轉(zhuǎn)換拼寫法的翻譯策略,對(duì)于這類專有名詞主要采用了音譯的方法。翻譯物質(zhì)文化詞匯和社會(huì)文化詞匯的時(shí)候主要采用了語言解釋的方法。在研究的過程中,作者發(fā)現(xiàn)了幾處文化專有項(xiàng)的誤譯案例。在本文的結(jié)論部分,作者根據(jù)自己的理解給出了一種更為合理的翻譯。
