博弈論是整個社會科學(xué)中極為重要的一門理論學(xué)科,它利用數(shù)學(xué)工具對種種社會現(xiàn)象進行深入的規(guī)范分析,獲得了豐碩的研究成果,是一種重要分析方法,可以應(yīng)用于經(jīng)濟學(xué)、社會學(xué)、政治學(xué)等許多學(xué)科。二十世紀初一些學(xué)者開始借用博弈論來進行翻譯研究�！对娊�(jīng)》作為中國古代第一部經(jīng)典詩集,是中國文學(xué)的搖籃和燦爛的明珠,對先秦以前的其他文學(xué)形式有深遠和持久的影響。因此,將其翻譯成英語對傳播中華文化、提升中國在世界上的軟實力有重要意義。本論文基于理雅各和許淵沖兩位譯者的《詩經(jīng)》譯本,以疊詞和名詞為例從博弈論的視角研究了《詩經(jīng)》的翻譯。通過從博弈理論的三個模型—囚徒困境、納什均衡和帕累托最優(yōu)對兩個版本的疊詞和名詞的翻譯所采用的翻譯策略進行了分析。發(fā)現(xiàn)當疊詞和名詞所含的文化因素較少時,采用異化的策略是一個更好的選擇,既能傳播中國文化,同時譯入語讀者也能感受到來自中國的異域文化。當疊詞和名詞中所含的文化因素較多時,采用歸化的翻譯策略是一個相對明智的選擇。
