《人性的枷鎖》（1915）是英國(guó)成就卓著的小說(shuō)家W.S.毛姆（1874-1965）的一部自傳體小說(shuō),作品講述了天生跛足的孤兒菲利普·凱里在經(jīng)歷了人生種種挫折和困惑后仍然堅(jiān)持不懈努力奮斗的故事。《平凡的世界》（1986）是中國(guó)當(dāng)代作家路遙（1949-1992）最具有代表性的作品,曾在1991年獲得第三屆茅盾文學(xué)獎(jiǎng)。小說(shuō)講述了主人公孫少平在社會(huì)轉(zhuǎn)型時(shí)期面對(duì)物質(zhì)生活的苦難和精神上的痛苦仍然頑強(qiáng)拼搏的故事。盡管《人性的枷鎖》中的故事發(fā)生在20世紀(jì)初的英國(guó),處于維多利亞時(shí)代向愛(ài)德華時(shí)代的轉(zhuǎn)變,而《平凡的世界》發(fā)生于20世紀(jì)八十年代前后的中國(guó),處于我國(guó)改革開(kāi)放的歷史變革時(shí)期,但是兩部作品的相似之處值得引起關(guān)注和研究。首先,兩部作品都是現(xiàn)實(shí)主義小說(shuō);其次,兩部小說(shuō)所傳達(dá)的個(gè)人成長(zhǎng)、家庭變遷和社會(huì)變化都與過(guò)渡時(shí)期的歷史時(shí)代密切相系,社會(huì)轉(zhuǎn)型對(duì)人的生活和思想都產(chǎn)生了很大的影響。在這種歷史背景下,兩位主人公在生活中不斷經(jīng)歷使他們內(nèi)心遭受創(chuàng)傷的各種事情。本文以《人性的枷鎖》和《平凡的世界》為研究對(duì)象,運(yùn)用創(chuàng)傷理論分析兩部小說(shuō)中的主人公面對(duì)創(chuàng)傷做出的三種類型反應(yīng)、原因及創(chuàng)傷復(fù)原過(guò)程。作為近些年出現(xiàn)的文學(xué)批評(píng)方...
