20世紀(jì)90年代,語料庫被正式引入到翻譯研究之中。語料庫翻譯研究著眼于真實(shí)的翻譯語料,通過統(tǒng)計(jì)大量的翻譯例證使得翻譯研究中存在的猜測性和主觀性得以降低。因此,語料庫定量研究的方法越來越多地運(yùn)用在描述翻譯學(xué)領(lǐng)域,包括翻譯規(guī)范方面。通過語料庫對文本進(jìn)行全面性、客觀性的考查,同時(shí)分析文本外的其他相關(guān)因素,將定量與定性兩種研究方法相結(jié)合,已經(jīng)成為翻譯研究的趨勢之一。本文對比研究了 A Study in Scarlet的四本漢譯本。該故事為福爾摩斯系列偵探小說的開篇之作。本文所研究的四個(gè)譯本分別為出版于20世紀(jì)10年代的林紓、魏易合譯的《歇洛克奇案開場》和周瘦鵑所譯的《血書》與出版于21世紀(jì)10年代的許德金翻譯的《血字的研究》和李家真翻譯的《暗紅習(xí)作》。依出版時(shí)間、語言等因素可將這四個(gè)譯本分為傳統(tǒng)組與現(xiàn)代組,即20世紀(jì)兩譯本歸為傳統(tǒng)組,21世紀(jì)兩譯本歸為現(xiàn)代組。借助作者自建的語料庫,首先發(fā)現(xiàn)了在詞匯層面:（1）傳統(tǒng)組兩譯本之間在用字方面的差異性（以字為單位統(tǒng)計(jì)了單音節(jié)、雙音節(jié)與多音節(jié)詞中所出現(xiàn)的漢字）要明顯大于現(xiàn)代組,高頻字占比均低于現(xiàn)代組,且彼此間高頻字差異也更大,原因應(yīng)是傳統(tǒng)組對譯文有更多的...
