【摘要】：《芒果街上的小屋》是桑德拉·希斯內(nèi)羅絲的成名作,發(fā)表于1984年,第二年便獲得了前哥倫布美國(guó)圖書獎(jiǎng),目前已被翻譯成了多種文字。該書有兩個(gè)中譯本分別是2006年出版的由旅美學(xué)者潘帕翻譯的《芒果街上的小屋》和2010年由暨南大學(xué)教授林為正翻譯的《家住芒果街》,兩個(gè)譯本都受到了廣泛好評(píng)。目前關(guān)于《芒果街上的小屋》的研究大都聚焦在其中的文化因素和女性主義上,對(duì)該書的譯本的研究很少,而關(guān)于兩個(gè)譯本的對(duì)比研究更是少之又少。所以本文旨在借助規(guī)范理論的指導(dǎo),對(duì)潘帕和林為正的兩個(gè)譯本展開對(duì)比研究。二十世紀(jì)八十年代,圖里首先提出了翻譯規(guī)范理論。通過研究譯者遵循的規(guī)范以及影響譯者實(shí)際翻譯的各種因素,他試圖發(fā)現(xiàn)翻譯的法則。圖里將翻譯規(guī)范分為初始規(guī)范、預(yù)備規(guī)范和操作規(guī)范,并提出規(guī)范具有多樣性。在圖里規(guī)范理論基礎(chǔ)上,切斯特曼、赫曼斯、諾德等學(xué)者進(jìn)一步補(bǔ)充和改進(jìn)了規(guī)范理論。這些理論相得益彰,統(tǒng)稱為規(guī)范理論。本文分別從文本內(nèi)和文本外資料對(duì)比分析了《芒果街上的小屋》兩個(gè)譯本的差異,以及這些差異體現(xiàn)的不同的翻譯規(guī)范。林譯本中不僅有對(duì)原文的刪改和增補(bǔ),并且在翻譯的語言風(fēng)格上也更接近漢語規(guī)范,而相比之下潘譯本則中規(guī)中矩幾乎是對(duì)原文的逐字翻譯。兩個(gè)譯本所體現(xiàn)了譯者的不同的翻譯規(guī)范,譯者的翻譯規(guī)范也不是恒定不變的,會(huì)因?yàn)楹芏嘁蛩赜兴{(diào)節(jié)。
