忠實(shí)與叛逆:葛浩文文學(xué)翻譯研究

  鑒于翻譯行為時(shí)刻面臨并處理不同民族之間的文化差異,而處理這些跨語言、跨文化的信息傳遞又不可免地遭遇不同程度的信息失落、扭曲和增添,法國文學(xué)社會(huì)學(xué)家羅伯特·埃斯卡皮(Robert Escarpit)敏銳地指出:“翻譯總是一種創(chuàng)造性叛逆”(1987:137)。謝天振教授非常欣賞并贊同這一觀點(diǎn),認(rèn)為“它道出了翻譯、尤其是文學(xué)翻譯的實(shí)質(zhì)”(2012:33)!笆菍(duì)千百年來深信不疑的傳統(tǒng)譯學(xué)理念的一種糾正和補(bǔ)充”(ibid:37)。從上世紀(jì)90年代初至今,謝先生不斷撰文予以介紹和闡釋,并在他的《譯介學(xué)》一書中給予了比較全面、系統(tǒng)和深入的闡述。創(chuàng)造性叛逆理論承認(rèn)原作的價(jià)值,同時(shí)又借鑒了解構(gòu)主義譯論中關(guān)于譯者賦予原作以“來世”、當(dāng)代闡釋學(xué)理論關(guān)于“合法的偏見”等觀點(diǎn),從跨文化和比較文學(xué)的高度,闡述了文學(xué)翻譯是一個(gè)再創(chuàng)造過程。創(chuàng)造性叛逆理論使譯者獲得了與原作者、讀者平等對(duì)話的權(quán)利,為重新審視文學(xué)翻譯的本質(zhì)和任務(wù)以及譯者在翻譯過程中的主體地位提供了嶄新的視角!熬妥g者而言,尤其是一個(gè)認(rèn)真、負(fù)責(zé)的譯者,他主觀上確實(shí)在努力追求盡可能百分之百地忠實(shí)原文,盡可能百分之百地把原文的信息體現(xiàn)在譯文中,然而事實(shí)上這是...
