韓禮德的三大“元功能”,即語言的概念功能、人際功能和謀篇功能,被廣泛應(yīng)用于話語分析領(lǐng)域的研究。作為“林語堂三部曲”之一的《京華煙云》向來廣受學(xué)界關(guān)注,但從人際功能角度對三大家族中人際關(guān)系的研究卻鮮有人涉及。本文選取林語堂英文原著Moment in Peking及其最為廣泛認(rèn)可和研究的張振玉及郁飛的兩個漢譯本作為研究對象,擬以韓禮德系統(tǒng)功能語言學(xué)中的人際功能為框架,分別從呼語、語氣及情態(tài)三個角度對比分析兩個漢譯本對原文人際意義的再現(xiàn)和傳遞,旨在探討人際功能在翻譯領(lǐng)域中的應(yīng)用以豐富對林語堂經(jīng)典小說Moment in Peking的漢譯研究。通過對Moment in Peking兩個漢譯本在人際功能應(yīng)用方面處理的對比研究,作者認(rèn)為:一、人際功能中的呼語、語氣及情態(tài)在原文和譯文中都得到了充分運(yùn)用。本文選取的兩個譯本對于翻譯原文中人際功能所采取的不同處理方式直接導(dǎo)致了譯本中人際功能呈現(xiàn)方面的差異。二、在對呼語的翻譯處理方面,張譯本總體上更能準(zhǔn)確捕捉并忠實傳遞原文語言中的人際功能;而在對語氣與情態(tài)的呈現(xiàn)方面,郁譯本更能從深層次凸顯原文作者意在表達(dá)的語氣及情態(tài)意義。三、本文驗證了韓禮德系統(tǒng)功能語言學(xué)...
