為了實(shí)現(xiàn)國(guó)家文化“走出去”戰(zhàn)略,各國(guó)學(xué)者和譯者都在尋找能夠“走出去”的渠道和方法。文化“走出去”離不開翻譯,因此,翻譯研究是其中不可或缺的重要環(huán)節(jié)。諾貝爾文學(xué)獎(jiǎng)獲得者莫言的代表作《紅高粱》,經(jīng)過(guò)葛浩文的翻譯,在國(guó)外獲得巨大成功,為中國(guó)文化“走出去”增添了信心。向成功者學(xué)習(xí)是做成功譯者的捷徑。因此,本文以《紅高粱》和紅高粱譯本為分析文本,通過(guò)比較研究法、文獻(xiàn)研究法和文本細(xì)讀法,以生態(tài)翻譯學(xué)為理論視角,來(lái)研究葛浩文如何適應(yīng)翻譯生態(tài)環(huán)境系統(tǒng)進(jìn)行適應(yīng)和選擇,產(chǎn)出高質(zhì)量的譯文。在該理論的關(guān)照下,筆者首先發(fā)現(xiàn)葛浩文對(duì)生態(tài)翻譯系統(tǒng)進(jìn)行了深入的了解和充分地適應(yīng)。其次,筆者還發(fā)現(xiàn)葛浩文在語(yǔ)言、文化、交際三維度上,積極選擇與適應(yīng)翻譯生態(tài)環(huán)境,在翻譯過(guò)程中充分考慮到了目標(biāo)讀者期待、社會(huì)意識(shí)形態(tài)以及出版商的要求等方面,進(jìn)行了正確的選擇,產(chǎn)出成功的作品。他成功的翻譯和翻譯方法對(duì)文化“走出去”背景下的譯者提供了啟示,有一定的借鑒意義。
