蘇童與麥卡勒斯小說的南方情結(jié)及呈現(xiàn)方式比較研究

【摘要】:中國作家蘇童和美國南方作家麥卡勒斯都是本國具有較大文學(xué)影響的著名作家,其創(chuàng)作均表現(xiàn)出一種特異的“南方情結(jié)”。中美南方文化雖然很不相同,但卻在地域上具有鮮明的文化性征,兩位作家從他們諳熟的南方生活出發(fā),創(chuàng)作了一批引人注目的南方特色作品,本文采用平行研究方法,從地域文化對(duì)文學(xué)創(chuàng)作之影響切入,圍繞蘇童《罌粟之家》、《妻妾成群》、《紅粉》、《米》與麥卡勒斯《心是孤獨(dú)的獵手》、《傷心咖啡館之歌》、《沒有指針的鐘》等典型文本進(jìn)行比較研究,探究蘇童和麥卡勒斯小說的南方情結(jié)及其呈現(xiàn)方式,和其在文化環(huán)境中所折射出的文化現(xiàn)象與文化問題,在兩個(gè)文化系統(tǒng)的比較中,詮釋兩位作家對(duì)人類生存狀態(tài)和精神層面的深切關(guān)注和對(duì)復(fù)雜人性孜孜不倦地拷問。 全文除引言、結(jié)語外,分為四章:引言介紹蘇童和卡森·麥卡勒斯在本國文學(xué)史中的地位及代表作品,綜述兩位作家當(dāng)下研究狀況,闡明本文研究意義。第一章主要闡釋兩位作家“南方世界”的建構(gòu)及其表征,分別敘述蘇童小說中陰柔綺靡的“楓楊樹村”和“香椿樹街”以及麥卡勒斯小說中衰敗隔絕的南方小鎮(zhèn)的特征。第二章結(jié)合文本對(duì)兩位作家南方世界中的人物典型進(jìn)行比較研究。主要從兩個(gè)方面展開,其一、蘇童和麥卡勒斯小說中的南方具有悲劇色彩的女性;其二、兩位作家不約而同將目光投向塑造孤獨(dú)的靈魂。第三章探究作家為表達(dá)其南方情結(jié)而選擇的呈現(xiàn)方式的異同。分析其小說形式的怪誕和“哥特式”風(fēng)格,還包括人物情感的荒謬呈現(xiàn)。第四章從童年經(jīng)歷、地域文化兩方面來探尋蘇童與麥卡勒斯南方情結(jié)及其呈現(xiàn)方式異同的動(dòng)因,并由此比較兩位作家對(duì)南方故土的復(fù)雜文化情感。結(jié)語:進(jìn)一步總結(jié)南方文化背景與作家南方情結(jié)形成之關(guān)系和作家在作品中折射出的文化情感,以及作家對(duì)人類精神狀態(tài)的藝術(shù)化觀照。 蘇童與麥卡勒斯從各自的文化傳統(tǒng)中汲取營養(yǎng),融合時(shí)代觀念與自身的生命體驗(yàn),將所提煉出的南方情結(jié)融入到自身的文本之中,透視出他們對(duì)南方故土和文化的深層思考。本文從地域文化對(duì)作家創(chuàng)作個(gè)性形成的影響出發(fā),細(xì)致剖析兩位作家南方情結(jié)的構(gòu)成要素,以及他們對(duì)南方故土的特殊情感,從而以一個(gè)新的視野解讀了兩位不同國度但卻有相似性的作家的藝術(shù)世界,看到了不同文化背景下人們共同存在的精神困境和人性背后的復(fù)雜。
[Abstract]:Both Chinese writer Su Tong and American southern writer McCarliss are famous writers with great literary influence in their own country, and their works show a kind of special "southern complex". Although the southern culture of China and the United States is very different, it has distinct cultural characteristics in the region. Starting from their familiar southern life, the two writers have created a number of works with remarkable southern characteristics. This paper adopts the method of parallel research. From the influence of regional culture on literary creation, it revolves around Su Tong's poppy House, wife and concubine group, Red Pink, Rice and McCarliss, Heart is a lonely hunter, Song of sad Cafe, "Song of sad Cafe", "Song of sad Cafe". This paper makes a comparative study of the typical texts such as Zhong without pointer, and probes into the southern complex and its presentation mode of Su Tong and McCartes' novels, as well as the cultural phenomena and cultural problems reflected in the cultural environment. In the comparison of the two cultural systems, this paper interprets the two writers' deep concern about the living state and spiritual level of human beings and the tirelessly torturing the complex human nature. In addition to the introduction and conclusion, the full text is divided into four chapters: the introduction introduces the position and representative works of Su Tong and Carson McCartes in the history of domestic literature, summarizes the current research status of the two writers, and clarifies the significance of this study. The third chapter explores the similarities and differences of the presentation methods chosen by writers to express their southern complex. This paper analyzes the grotesque and Gothic style of his novel, and also includes the absurd presentation of the character's emotion. The fourth chapter explores the motivation of the similarities and differences between Su Tong and McCarliss' southern complex and their presentation from two aspects of childhood experience and regional culture, and compares the complex cultural feelings of the two writers to the southern homeland. Conclusion: this paper further summarizes the relationship between the southern cultural background and the formation of the writer's southern complex and the cultural feelings reflected by the writer in his works, as well as the writer's artistic view of the human spiritual state. Su Tong and McCartes draw nutrition from their respective cultural traditions, integrate the concept of the times and their own life experience, integrate the extracted southern complex into their own texts, and see through their deep thinking on the native land and culture of the south. Starting from the influence of regional culture on the formation of writers' creative personality, this paper analyzes in detail the constituent elements of the southern complex of the two writers and their special feelings for the native land of the south. Thus, this paper interprets the artistic world of two different countries but similar writers from a new perspective, and sees the common spiritual dilemma and the complexity behind human nature in different cultural backgrounds.
