【摘要】：No Good Deed(《預(yù)言照相機(jī)》)一書的作者瑪麗·麥當(dāng)勞(M.P. McDonald)是美國著名的文學(xué)小說作家,該書則是其馬克·泰勒系列叢書(The Mark Taylor Series)的第一部作品,書中人物和故事情節(jié)完全為作者虛構(gòu),該書在出版后引發(fā)了讀者的強(qiáng)烈反響。書中主要講述了主人公馬克·泰勒到阿富汗旅游,被無意間發(fā)現(xiàn)的一臺老式照相機(jī)吸引,于是從街邊商販?zhǔn)掷镔I了下來。出乎預(yù)料的是,這臺相機(jī)拍照時,照片有時會和當(dāng)時的場景完全不同,而接下來他看到的種種事故都曾在這些照片里出現(xiàn),有時候他還可以通過自己的努力改變照片里預(yù)言即將發(fā)生的事。本書圍繞馬克·泰勒和他的預(yù)言照相機(jī)展開,著重描寫了9·11事件以后,馬克·泰勒被冤枉成犯罪嫌疑人和恐怖主義者的共犯而關(guān)押入獄后的一系列事件。書中故事情節(jié)敘述詳細(xì),場景、人物形態(tài)、心理活動描寫細(xì)致形象,對話較多,并多處使用倒敘手法。該作品的翻譯,可以從讓國人對西方人的人生觀、價值觀有較為深入的認(rèn)識,此類小說的引進(jìn)和翻譯,能夠更好地促進(jìn)中西方經(jīng)濟(jì)文化交流和彼此了解,也有助于學(xué)術(shù)界的學(xué)者更好地理解西方文學(xué)作品和創(chuàng)作理念。譯者選取《預(yù)言照相機(jī)》的第八章到第十章作為本次英漢翻譯實踐的翻譯任務(wù)。因為該部分是本書的中心部分,突出本書主題,情節(jié)描述精彩詳細(xì)。本報告分為以下五部分：在簡介中,對作者及其作品創(chuàng)作背景、內(nèi)容做了簡要介紹,論述了翻譯此書的現(xiàn)實意義。第一章是翻譯任務(wù)描述,描述了原文本的內(nèi)容、翻譯目標(biāo),分析原文本的特點。在第二章翻譯過程描述中,描述了譯者翻譯過程中所經(jīng)歷的三個階段：準(zhǔn)備階段,具體執(zhí)行階段,成稿審校階段。第三章是文本案例分析,列舉了翻譯中遇到的問題,對其進(jìn)行分析并提出相應(yīng)解決對策。在結(jié)論部分,對整個翻譯實踐的過程進(jìn)行反思總結(jié),總結(jié)翻譯經(jīng)驗啟示,運用翻譯理論歸納總結(jié)。
[Abstract]:The author of No Good Deed ('s "camera of prophecy" is M. P. McDonald, a famous American literary novelist who is the first in his Mark Taylor series, (The Mark Taylor Series). The characters and storylines in the book are completely fictional by the author, and the book has aroused a strong response from the readers after its publication. The book focuses on the hero Mark Taylor traveling to Afghanistan, attracted by an inadvertent discovery of an old-fashioned camera, and bought it from street vendors. Unexpectedly, the camera took pictures that were sometimes completely different from those of the time, and all the accidents he saw later appeared in them. Sometimes he can change the picture with his own efforts to predict what is about to happen. The book revolves around Mark Taylor and his prophecy camera, focusing on a series of events after 9 / 11 in which Mark Taylor was wrongly convicted as an accomplice to a criminal suspect and a terrorist. The storyline in the book is detailed, scene, character form, psychological activity describes the detailed image, dialogue is more, and many use flashback technique. The translation of this work can give people a deeper understanding of the outlook on life and values of the Westerners. The introduction and translation of such novels can better promote economic and cultural exchanges and mutual understanding between China and the West. It also helps academic scholars to better understand Western literary works and creative ideas. The translator chooses chapters 8 to 10 of camera of prophecy as the translation task of English and Chinese translation practice. Because this section is the central part of the book, highlight the theme of the book, the plot description wonderful detail. This report is divided into the following five parts: in the brief introduction, the author and his works are briefly introduced, and the practical significance of translating the book is discussed. The first chapter is the translation task description, describes the content of the original text, translation objectives, analysis of the characteristics of the original text. In the second chapter, we describe the three stages in the process of translation: preparation, implementation and revision. Chapter three is the case analysis of the text, enumerating the problems encountered in translation, analyzing them and putting forward the corresponding countermeasures. In the conclusion part, the author summarizes the whole process of translation practice, summarizes the translation experience and enlightenment, and summarizes the translation theory.
