【摘要】：《王牌飛行員》是美國作家溫斯頓·格盧姆(Winston Groom)的一部長篇小說。小說主要介紹了埃迪·里肯巴克、吉米·杜立特和查爾斯·林德伯格三位美國王牌飛行員的傳奇人生。譯者選取了小說的第五章作為翻譯材料,本書目前沒有中文譯本。第五章主要講述了一戰(zhàn)時(shí)的王牌飛行員里肯巴克在一戰(zhàn)期間,放棄自身賽車手的榮耀和名氣,毅然投身空軍事業(yè),并在戰(zhàn)爭中不斷成長的經(jīng)歷。這部作品主要屬于信息型文本,兼具表達(dá)型文本特征。在翻譯過程中,筆者在宏觀上堅(jiān)持忠實(shí)原則,以直譯為主。對(duì)部分翻譯難點(diǎn)采取了歸化、增譯等翻譯方法,使譯文能夠符合目的語讀者的閱讀習(xí)慣。通過本次翻譯實(shí)踐和對(duì)本書的內(nèi)容及相關(guān)歷史的系統(tǒng)了解,譯者提高了翻譯能力,充分意識(shí)到了“譯事三難”,認(rèn)識(shí)到了自身雙語駕馭能力仍需提高,明確了今后的努力方向。
[Abstract]:Ace pilot is a novel by Winston Groomm, an American writer. The novel mainly introduces the legendary life of Eddie Ricenbak, Jimmy Doolittle and Charles Lindberger. The translator chooses the fifth chapter of the novel as the translation material. The fifth chapter mainly tells the first World War ace pilot Rickenbak in the first World War, gave up their own car racing driver's glory and fame, resolutely committed to the air force, and in the war growing up experience. This work mainly belongs to the informative text, and also has the expressive text characteristic. In the process of translation, the author adheres to the principle of faithfulness at macro level, focusing on literal translation. Some translation difficulties are translated by domestication and incremental translation, so that the target text can conform to the reading habits of the target language readers. Through this translation practice and a systematic understanding of the contents and related history of the book, the translator has improved his translation ability, fully realized the "three difficulties in translation", realized that his bilingual competence still needs to be improved, and made clear the direction of his future efforts.
